Where will the Price of Bitcoin be for year-end 2025?

Bitcoin has two factors that are important in my opinion:

1. Being a Store of Value

2. Hedge against Inflation

I am always on the lookout for assets that can provide the above two items.

But First Price History

Here’s a clear table of Bitcoin’s annual price changes over the past 10 years (using year‑end prices in USD and approximate % change from the previous year)

• 8 out of the last 10 years have been positive price appreciation with half of the 10 years over 100%

• The last two full years (2023 & 2024) have had price appreciation of right at 150%

• Granted the two down years (2018 & 2022) would dissuade anyone from investing in bitcoin if you did not look at the bigger picture regarding the other eight years in that 10 year period

This all leads to the question of "Where will the Price of Bitcoin be for the year-end 2025?"

Like any other Financial Instrument, there are no guarantees regarding an assets price. I am not an expert so you will need to do your own research.

I am Optimistic

I am optimistic about the price of Bitcoin due to the 2024 halving, combined with ETF inflows, corporate treasury adoption, and rate cuts, which I believe will put upward pressure on the price for the rest of 2025.

Current Bitcoin Price

The current Bitcoin Price is $113,396.43 at 12:52 PM CST 09/30/2025 is up this year slightly under 5% from the 2024 year-end price of $108,268

That is flat compared to the 10 prior years which seems out of place. Does this mean the last quarter of the year will see a dramatic move in the price of Bitcoin (either up or down)?

Based on this, I would expect a good 4th quarter for Bitcoin and all other crypto currencies that ride Bitcoin's wave (including Hive).
