Full Moon Rising and other sky photos

The full moon was just starting to rise in the east when i walked out back of the house. Well, technically it is not yet full that will not happen until tomorrow according to my weather app.

I also took this next photo looking northeast. I like the way the clouds are all wispy looking. With the sun setting, the coyotes are starting to howl in the distance. I guess with the full moon they will be out and about most of the next few nights. Sometimes it sounds like they are just on the other side of the fence. The piercing and high pitched sound they make is unnerving being so close to the house.

This photo was taken looking west as the sun has just dropped behind those hills in the distance. I just love watching the sky change colors as dusk starts to come upon us.

The lake has been very nusy during the day this summer but it seems that with the sun setting everyone has called it quits and headed back the shore. Not very many clouds in the sky this evening but at least there were a few to catch the colorful end of the day.
