Buy Low, Sell High - Why not Just Buy...
People always love to give you advice about investing. The most common of these is:
"BUY LOW, SELL HIGH"

Theory Makes This Statement True
In theory, this statement is very true and should be followed. However, unless you are a fortune teller and can see the future, there will be know way of knowing exactly when the item you have selected will increase in value. Much less the timeline over which it would take for it to happen.
Most Advice is Given for Selfish Reasons
The person giving you the advice, most of the time, is suggesting you get into a specific investment that they themselves have already invested. Some of the times their advice is genuine however most of the time it is they want more people investing into the asset they own so that the price will go even higher and they can sell out.
These people will sell out before they ever mention it again, take their profit and run. Then if you asked about it, they will say they found something else or that you had mentioned you should have set a limit order on the asset or that you should have been watching the prices yourself but never shared that when they originally offered the advice.
Not Financial Advice
I love it when you read an interesting article about a project with a outstanding APR and then the author feels they need to share that the article is just sharing their opinion and that it is "Not Financial Advice".
I do understand about this because there are so many people out their that do not care to "Do Their Own Research" and will jump into anything and then blame anyone and everyone for not warning them first that the price may fall or the company may go out of business.
These are the people I advise everyone to stay away from because they have no common sense whatsoever. But when you are writing an article, there is no telling whom may find it, read it and believe that it is the ultimate truth that should be followed to the tee.
So for that reason I must say:
"This article is only my opinion for entertainment only and is "NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE"
Back to the Topic
Ok, now that I have gotten that out of the way, let's get back to the topic of "Buy Low and Sell High" and more specifically the Hive Platform.
On the Hive Platform, you have two base layer coins that are very important to the whole ecosystem - Hive and Hive Backed Dollar (HBD).
Hive acts just like any other investment asset with price fluctuations that you may or may not understand what is driving the moves. There are several that state they know exactly why an asset moves like it does and work to make you believe they have information that others do not have.
My advice concerning this group of people or individual is to check their track history and their balance. Most are just playing the weekend advisor and sharing information that has happened in the past but remember no one really knows what they future may hold otherwise they would already be filthy rich and no longer giving advice.
Hive has Use Cases
I digress again. Currently all crypto assets are in a bear market, some of these cryptos will survive while others will become obsolete. You need to do your own research to see if there are any use cases for the items in which you would like to invest.
Not only do they need use cases but the use cases need to add value to all or most of those that decide to own that specific asset.
Hive and HBD has numerous use cases, way to many for me to mention in this article but like I stated before, you need to do your own research related to any project you would like to be involved.
Hive Platform 2nd Layer
Not just is there Hive and HBD that you could buy, there are also over 900 2nd Layer tokens which are related to projects, tribes/communities, games, etc. At the moment of the writing of this article there are 934 2nd Layer Hive tokens to be exact.
With so many tokens that you could buy on the Hive Platform, it is more important than ever to do some research prior to investing into them.
My Advice
Here is my advice, get to know those that are the owners of the tokens that you are interested. Ask them lots of questions, ask others about them, read the post they write and share.
Here is the question you must ask yourself:
Do you trust them and is their project sustainable?
Rest assured, this will not make the project a success. You will still need to do more of your own research to understand the complexities of the project and associated people.
No One Knows the Future
No one knows the future so you must rely on the people you trust and history to steer you along the way. Currently all crypto prices are down because of the so called "Crypto Winter" or "Bear Market" everyone has a different name for what is going on.
But if history repeats itself, a bull market normally follows a bear market so now would be the best time to buy and build holdings of Hive, HBD and select 2nd Layer Hive Tokens. Because history has always shown that " a rising tide (market) always raises most ships (assets).
"Buy into what you have researched and believe will last the Long Haul" but also remember there are no guarantees.
Then you will most definitely be able to:
"Buy Low and Sell High"
