the tokenization of all assets

Here's a video I have on my feed right now,

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink:

"We're at the beginning of the tokenization of all assets"

"Oct 14, 2025 - Larry Fink, BlackRock chairman and CEO, joins CNBC's 'Squawk on the Street' to discuss the company's most recent earnings, areas of growth, and much more."

"I do believe we are at the beginning of the tokenization of all assets, from real estate to equities to bonds, across the board."

"If we can tokenize an ETF..."

"we have the largest cash moneymarket fund that is tokenized called BUIDL.."

"Markets, like everything humans build, aren’t perfect. They reflect us—unfinished, sometimes flawed, but always improvable. The solution isn’t to abandon markets; it’s to expand them."

Blackrock’s Larry Fink On The Decisions That Grew The Firm Into A Behemoth

"on stage at the 2025 Forbes Iconoclast Summit about the decisions that helped grow the firm into a multibillion dollar company."

https://ir.blackrock.com/home/default.aspx

"When we went public, it was with belief in the importance
of growth and depth in the capital markets. We wanted to
share BlackRock’s success with a broader population of
people investing for the future, including our employees"
--- Larry Fink (2025 Proxy)

"Let's begin this blog with an inspiring thought from the man behind Blackrock Larry D Fink. He said, 'I am responsible for managing more school teachers' and firemen's money than anybody in the world. That's an enormous responsibility'. Like he said Blackrock is the top asset management company worldwide which handles $9.42 trillion approx. On the other side, approval of Blackrock's Bitcoin ETF could trigger a $15 trillion cryptocurrency rush.

However, managing this much amount of assets always contains risks and complications. That's where Aladdin (Asset, Liability, Debt, and Derivative Investment Network) comes into the game. It's a tool for managing money and making investments. It brings together risk analysis, complete management of investment portfolios, tools for trading, and handling operations, all in one place."

"Aladdin (short for Asset, Liability, Debt, and Derivative Investment Network) is an end-to-end investment management platform. Born in-house at BlackRock in the late 1980s, it’s now a leading financial technology system adopted by hundreds of the world’s largest financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, corporates, and sovereign wealth funds.

At its core, Aladdin unifies portfolio management, trading, risk analytics, operations, compliance, and reporting—into one cloud-based ecosystem."

"Blackrock Aladdin Explore allows users to build reports including exposures, risk analytics, stress testing, returns, and performance attribution in a single view – and generate that analysis in tabular and graphical formats, through both point-in-time and time-series analysis.
Blackrock Aladdin Explore also provides a framework for modeling changes to portfolios' composition and creating portfolios from scratch, and viewing reporting on the resulting portfolio."

So Blackrock has it's Capital, and its Software.

This is complicated software, but i'm sure someone could look closer.
When you have the right tools, you can get the job done.

Thoughts

What does the Tokenization of all assets mean for the future? Will you be able to borrow, buy, sell and profit in a tokenized marketplace? Can you use Tokenization to access dormant traditional capital? Blackrock is doing it.

If you wanted to buy stocks to hold for a decade, Blackrock has earned $9 billion this year, how much will they earn in ten years? $50 billion? More?

How does Blackrock's Aladdin compare to Microstrategy's software?
What mega-corporations will control the digital future of capital?
Where do individuals exist in this decentralized wasteland of bytes?
How can real world assets truly pair with tokens? What methods are used?

Are we a walking NFT or do we create NFTs when we walk?

Where does capital and asset meet? How do we find a loan, where do we find an income? How can there be freedom without privacy? Will tokenized assets be private or public and when there is only private capital what will people do?

These are random questions, I am brain storming here.

What is worth more, a used car that is tokenized and backed by USDT,
or a Meme NFT that was bought for 0.15 ETH and can be sold for 0.15 ETH?

One is a physical object that has physical existence. One is a digital contract.

I think the idea of creating a digital map to an image is neat, but the other possibilities are complex. Reasons for holding digital assets other than as an Asset could be, status, recognition, community, bonus information, or access.
