One IMDB review says "There's enough enjoyment here for the very hardcore Spaghetti Western fan, but expectations levels really should be set at low. There's plenty of the standard Spag shootings, stand-offs and posturings, moody atmosphere and the music is pretty ace (Felice Di Stefano), but the structure of the pic is off." so I don't have huge expectations, but ill watch it.

'Most scenes were reportedly shot quickly and inexpensively near Rome, Italy rather than the American West or Mexico, as is typical for Italian westerns of the era.'*

image.png

'The soundtrack was praised as a highlight of the film, lending atmosphere to an otherwise formulaic revenge plot revolving around Django’s quest to avenge his murdered father and recover stolen money.'*

Rada Rassimov portrays the the sister of the main character, Django Foster, and is also the real-life sister of lead actor Ivan Rassimov.

She also played Maria in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), as well as appearances in The Cat o' Nine Tails (1971), Baron Blood (1972), Grandeur Nature (1975), and Lost Love (2003).

Is that that same Django character from the Tarantino movie?

No but that is why I decided to watch it! I wonder if there are any similarities in the films though. I will watch Django Unchained again after, Tarantino does pay homage to older films quite a bit in his style.

I do notice this character here has a white suit, which is similar to the one worn by this other character.

Oh yeah, think that’s the character Di Caprio is playing in the Tarantino one.
