Last season if you didn't get enough 'experience' with each weapon, you couldn't buy the better guns from the NPCs. This season the quests are making it more obvious, they want us to improve!

If you get to Gold, instead of a discount, the gun Cassidy sells turns Legendary.

This Skillet guy is crazy, his 'custom loadout' cost 5000 which I happened to have, until I accidentally bought it from him. Then I had 0 gold haha so I have been looting the banks in Fortnite for more.

I guess that's the point-- you gotta pay with the Gold.

Thank you! As someone who has spent a lot of time working in Unreal Engine, Fortnite is doing a lot of things right. It has strategically positioned itself as the Game Marketplace, in the center of the multiverse. It reminds me of Halo, and Goldeneye, and mostly its just fun with friends as I get to hang out with my team virtually.
