Help reduce HIVE inflation!

BURN SOME HIVE TODAY!

To meaningfully reduce inflation, it would be helpful if 275,000 users could burn about 1.37 HIVE per month. We might then be able to reduce inflation on Hive by 1% or -71,400 per week.

I am just estimating; if another user has a way to create a 'Guage-style burn meter' that shows exactly how much HIVE has been destroyed each day, in total, removed from supply, or sitting on exchanges etc, and how much is being burnt at any particular time; hour/day/year, please let me know, thank you. That would be very helpful to watch.

You don't have to burn a lot of Hive by yourself if we all work together to reduce the Hive supply. You don't have to use your balance. Just vote on this Burn Barrel! If we burn 1.37/HIVE each month, then we can help reduce the Hive supply by 16.44 HIVE/year. More than 20,000 users could start doing this to have a meaningful impact on the supply. To reach a 1% inflation reduction target here on Hive 20k users could burn 19.74 HIVE each month.
