I have just six minutes to, like Superman, suit up and fly away. But before I do I take this moment to complete a simply habit, a Hive post. Writing something, something about my day. So tap tap tapping, here is my Friday the 13th blog.
I caught up on my receipts, a task more important than checking my facebook, or watching netflix. Keeping my eye on the numbers is a lifeboat, when you don't have a clue what to do. Watching the price of Bitcoin is great, sure. But watching the numbers on your balance sheet grow? That would be something indeed!
An honest recording, done twice of where when how much and why, reveals a lot. That's only half the task, the other is making sense of the big picture. I practiced my new method of receipt tracking all last year, and now in 2025 I am committed to my system. This week however, I let my routine lapse too long.
I had 7 days, maybe 8, worth of entries to double log. I had run out of my pack in Index cards, so I picked up some more this week. With the time I had, I figured the best thing to do was complete my daily receipt tracking for the first 13 days of June It took me exactly ONE HOUR, to do this catch-up today, but I did it.
Now, with one minute left to get out of here, I can say that I am caught up, and knowing this gives me a little peace of mind. Travel safely today!
