There's lots of FUD and FOMO circulating at these high prices,

On BTC's +1.5% rise over the past 24 hours, ETH is up +7.2%, SOL up +6.8%, DOGE up +6.1%, LINK up +6.5%, Polkadot up +4.3%, even Litecoin is up +3.6%.

BTC market cap dominance is 61.31%, down from 62.65% 2 days ago.

Taking profit?

Apparently 'Willy Woo' has sold all his Bitcoin. Sounds like some woowoo to me.

"Woo says that when Bitcoin OGs sell Bitcoin they bought for under $100 at say $100,000 nearly all that money, $99,000 is coming from new buyers" - CoinTelegraph

It's totally cool for long time holders to sell if they want to. But when he says that from $2 Trillion market cap it has only "50x growth" to $100 Trillion being "near the [hard money] ceiling" I have to say, I doubt it. There will be $500 Trillion dollars one day. $7 Quadrillion. $497 Quadrillion, even. It sounds crazy but I believe it could happen.

Claude: (FV=PV×(1+r)^n) 'At an 18% annual growth rate, the global M2 money supply would reach $7 quadrillion in about 25–26 years from mid-2025—that is, around the year 2050'*P

Seems to be confirmed. Bitcoin fell below $17k this week but has risen again over $119k which just last month still seemed out of reach. All time high range!

Sure, maybe governments worldwide will stop printing fiat currency, but I don't think that is likely. In the best case scenario, the world doesn't end, and maybe by 2050 there will be 5% or 10% BTC adoption, up from less than 1% currently. In your opinion, is it plausible- likely- or unlikely- that the market cap of Bitcoin could reach $11 Trillion or $22 Trillion by 2050? Plausible but unlikely? Well the price per coin would be half a million, or a million dollars per coin. Not so far off after all!

Perhaps this just confirms Willy Woo's analysis, but what about after 2050? What about 2075? 2099? 2150? Can the BTC market cap exceed $200 Trillion on a long enough timeline? Beyond 2050 all bets are off, but it would depend a lot on whether BTC continues to be adopted as a global asset on earth and possibly offworld.

Life is short, live now.

Money is just energy and having money for the sake of money is hollow.

What would you do, if you could afford it?

Why not just work towards doing that now? There are other ways to earn, and plenty of things in life are in fact free. I am keeping an eye on the price of Bitcoin but also try to keep some perspective, and not get caught up too much in the what ifs, (except to keep the conversation going) and stay practical. Even investing $4000/year in the S&P will generally offer good results.

The important thing is to get started.

What are your skills and talents? What are your passions, and dreams?
