Look and Live.

What a stubborn troop......
They had once again complained about having independence, one would wonder if slavery is such sweet bread.
The Mighty one was not appeased so he decided to teach them a lesson, he sent slippery and venomous snakes to bite them.
They began to feel sorry and with apologies, they approached their intercessor ,who in turn went to the Mighty one .
The solution came but only one thing was needed to be rescued, Obedience.
The instruction was to look up to a brazen serpent that hung on a pole ,only then could they be rescued from the death that lurked nearby.
Some looked up,some didn't.
Sadly, those who didn't heed payed with their lives and a second chance was granted to those who looked up, they lived.
(Numbers 21:5-9)

Look and Live my brother live
Look to Jesus now and live.......

This hymn is quite known amongst Christian brethren, it's wordings so profound that they seem like life itself.
This song helps us look back to the cross.
The place where the Only Begotten bore our sufferings.
The children of Israel had to look up to a brazen serpent to live .
But today we have to look up to The cross with Jesus as our main focus, only then can one find life ,in that very emblem of suffering we find life.
Is there anyone around you devoid of life, anyone around you who has not looked up to Jesus yet ?
I implore you brethren in Christ, spread this message of Redemption.
Let them look and Live also.
No matter how far in iniquity they've gone , just like the children of Israel who looked up at the serpent were saved ,they can also be saved and this time by the Savior himself.
And you my brother and sister, when you are weary in this Christian journey, look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith and receive ( life), strength to run this race to the end.

Selah.
