In crypto, people way too often emphasize modern tech or whatever other cool perks, where in the end what matters is market penetration. Ripple have always been kind of a standout with that, and without the SEC battle, they would've probably been much faster in terms of adoption. Whether that justifies a 300bn valuation, is of course a different debate, but then again, in crypto everything is relative...
