RE: [ENG/ITA] Target Achieved: 5000 LEO! Plus, Over 150$ Earned in Arbitrage

How many LEOs do they take away when you switch from Tribaldex to Arbitrum? I read someone who sent 100 and received 89.

Right now the fee is very high: 10,5% of the transferred amount.

It might change in the future, though.

If you want to bridge your LEO now, an alternative route you might want to consider is:

  • selling them on Tribaldex for SWAP.HIVE,
  • then swap SWAP.HIVE for SWAP.ETH,
  • bridge SWAP.ETH to Ethereum
  • and then use ETH to buy LEO on Arbitrum through LeoDex.

It involves more steps, but it might cost you less than bridging your LEO with the 10,5% fee.

😱

Could I replace ETH with BNB? Isn't it cheaper?

It’s cheaper, but you have 2 disadvantages:

  1. the SWAP.HIVE-SWAP.BNB pool on Hive-Engine has lower liquidity (this might not be an issue if you are moving few LEOs)
  2. once on the Binance Smart Chain, you have to bridge and swap your BNB to ETH on Arbitrum, as you don't want to buy bLEO but native LEO, so you have more swap fees to pay (plus the slippage)

The cheapest path in my esperience is going through ETH. And when you arrive on Ethereum (if you want to keep gas fees as low as possible) you can bridge your ETH from Ethereum to Arbitrum and then swap it for native LEO. To Bridge ETH from Ethereum to Arbitrum on average I paid 0.04$ in gas fees (plus the fee of the bridge), so it’s pretty affordable :)
