That one moment that cannot he forgotten

Hello.. I extend my warm greetings to you. i hope you are doing great.
In life and as a human you must have moments, moments of joy, moment of sadness, etc but today our prompt emphasizes on moment of embarrassment.
Not just moments of embarrassment but the unforgettable ones.
Growing as a kid back then in our family, we believe happening people around matters with your little resources.
So, I took giving as lifestyle, giving to peers, beggers on the roadsides. Little did i knew they are some people who doesn't deserve help.

One day, coming back from school i saw a crippled begger seeking for alms. I had only two hundred with me which intended to use for my lunch. But on contrary , i went against my mind and offered my only money to begger. i stretched the money towards to take but he refused, 'may he can hardly see' i thought to myself. so, i had drop the money in front of him.

Before i could move any other step, he threw the money, muttering angrily. i felt embarrassed, i felt like i was floating as everyone stared at me. immediately i regretted and blamed what prompted to help such as useless begger.

Sometimes you feel pity towards these people and have the urge to help but not all of them are meant to be pitied.
if someone had told that helping that begger that day would result to a huge embarrassment and insult i wouldn't had believe.

Most of people you see today you call beggers are not beggers some are undercovers while some are working for ritual killers.
So whatever stranger you're trying to help, please be careful and stay safe
