Merchant of Lost things

It was getting darker as john panicked walking from one corner to the other without no aim.He was obviously bothering about something.Deep in thought that he didn't even noticed when his colleague entered.When the colleague tapped him,he jerked"Man you have to calm down,Things like this happen.It was collateral loss which can still be recovered colleague said as he patted john's shoulders as he made his way out the hallway.John mopped at him as walked away until his figure completely disappeared.John walked majestically to his car as he drove home in low spirit.
The next morning john spirit was elevated as he drove to his office,he was determined about something he couldn't possibly say.All of sudden he stomach started to rumble he quickly made his way to the restroom as he relieved himself.Just as he was about to reach for the tissue paper a sim card fell from tissue holder.John gradually picked up the sim card slot into his phone he quickly went through the messages and what he saw left him frozen,he quickly transferred all the messages to his phone removed the sim and kept back in the tissue holder where he found it.He used the tissue and made his way out of restroom.
He sat calmy in his office as his colleague who had consoled him yesterday came in he sat down oppositely facing john,they exchanged pleasantries.After a while john cleared his throat "What wrong did i do to you,what have asked of i did not give to you,why repay with wickedness,so you're the merchant of my lost thing,you have been the one,eh ? John asked fiercely."Please am sorry,it out of envy.i wanted to you to loose everything so you'll be under me,it was the work of the devil, please pardon me" John's colleague begged whilst rubbing his two palms together in pleas."Mmmm the devil used you to bring my downfall?? Now the devil is going to use me to get you behind bars"John said pointing his index finger at his colleague.Seeing that he had been double-crossed he can't let himself spend the rest of his life behind bars,so he made to escape through the louvers. right then he jumped out.Unfortunately he landed in the arms of the policemen who had already surrounded the building.He was handcuffed as he was whisked into the police van.
