MY MUSIC EXPERIENCE IN 2024.
In my church there's this program we hold once a year called Nativity Sundays, it's a four Sundays program which each of the service is dedicated to a specific culture, the first service is usually HAUSA service, the SECOND Yoruba, the Third IGBO and the last all African service,in these service my church gives room for different cultural songs or performance but majorly we have just hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, that's because in Nigeria as a whole we are classified into these three ethnicity, and in this service specific person are being given the responsibility to lead each of these service but from the choir.
After so much rehearsal in the choir I was part of those who where chosen to lead the Hausa service, scored several Hausa songs, and I and one of our choir lady was given the ministration to work on,I didn't find it difficult scoring the song cause I understand Hausa, and I was also asked to lead the worship and it was a powerful experience.
One of the most interesting thing about Nativity service is the cultural atires,I could see so many people dressed in the northern fashion, starting from the choir down to the congregation, and also the music pattern in the church for each of those days changed, from the uniqueness of everything that takes place in the service I could see the excitement on the people.
We had several ministrations from individuals,I was privileged to have the space to Minister one of my favorites Hausa song by kaestring titled Haske, and the ministration was a powerful one,the service was full of songs of praise.
Nativity service is one service we invest a lot in preparation of it,of course it has to be well prepared for cause it happens once in a year, starting from every first Sunday of the month of June.
Nativity Sunday last year was a blast with so much trend on internet, couldn't help sharing it around,at I just sit down and thank God for creating music for us,so many people have gotten their healings through songs, burdens have been listed from many through music, thank God for this amazing gift.
