When you know more, you begin to argue less, that's just the truth in every matter. In a world where technology is taking a faster pace I would advise you buckle up. Yes, your seat belt will be very vital or you'll lose track. There has been a continuous debate between the future of web2 and web3. What's web2; in a simple and precise manner, one would say a website that enables users to generate context, with end to end usability. The most important aspect( and not too favorable) about it is that they are platforms owned and controlled by certain individuals or entities (share holders). It's centralized and rewards share favors share holders( bad tokenomics).

This platforms are awesome per say, most are designed for ease of use. Currently, I guess there is no single day we do not make use of web2 platforms especially for those who are onliners. As the day goes on, ALL we try to do is reduce our web2 presence, why; this is due to web3 exposure. So what's web3?, all you can think of web2 plus the most important parts; they run with blockchain tech, are decentralized in data storage and has a token based economy reputation. Those three components I just mentioned is the icing in the cake.

The future of web3 is still uncertain to many due to the current advantage web2 has. And what's that?, Structure. You know big conglomerates and Internet gatekeepers have dominated the network and platforms via the web2 system and it seems this resistance may never be broken. They've done web2 business for years and have enjoyed millions to billions of earning yearly. Since the inception of web3, we've seen web2 platforms try to advance their level of business to meet up.

Look at Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) and you'll know what I mean. We all know Mr Elon is trying to build the everything app, Facebook are trying to take meta to another level. When looking at the financial sectors, we've seen the government incorporating with bank to produce CBDC and many others. Can we say all these are threats to web3? A lot would say yes but for me, this is a big no. What are they building? Better platforms right? What are they missing? Maybe I'll have to recap again; blockchain tech of decentralization and tokenomics.

Let's take for instance, two companies A and B are into car production. A sells its cars in USD ( United state dollars) only while B accepts all currencies. A may produce something better than B but the sales limitation will always be the case that it's USD or no buy. Will this panic company B, not at all. Think of B going ahead to replicate that same product, won't they sell? Of course. This is what drives web3, a decentralized and user oriented system.

Olga Kharif a famous reporter of crypto news one said something that is worth more attention. She viewed web3 "as an idea capable of creating or building financial assets through tokenomics in everyday online working and presence". As long as you are connected, assets( in form of tokens) will keep flowing in. Imagine being connected to 10 or 100 web3 platforms, you know what this means.

They'll build better platforms in web2 but as long as the web3 incorporation of blockchain, decentralization and tokenomics is missing it will continue to be a web3 advantage. Simply, build a replica of their portal and introduce this three concepts and you are good to go. They build something better, you repeat the process. The world is shifting to blockchain, decentralization and tokenomics and anything outside this, does not interest us anymore.

As users' eyes continue to open to the world of web3, web2 value will continue to depreciate. The advantage of web3 is that it favors users and this will continue to be a hedge. Every current web2 innovation adds up to web3 progress. This may not show up NOW yet with time the reality about this will surface. Web3 is not more of a web2 competitor, rather an advancement, I think I've said this before. Web2 fighting web3 through advancement in platforms or service is not enough to wave off this technology.

I see a brighter future for web3 yet I must say it will take some time for a lot of users to pullover. It's difficult to change habits, that's for sure. Many are trapped in the web2 system. If a lot who are aware of web3 still find themselves in web2 how about those who know little to nothing. The Internet is a multi-dollar industry if not trillion and a few hands have been milking its rewards for a long time. Web3 surfaces to correct this and it definitely will. The need to embrace web3 opportunity into our daily business will promote fair share or atleast a near fair share of internet treasure.

To conclude, let me add, the latest version of web2 is web3 an advancement upon the later technology. The struggle by web2 giants to build something far better than web3 will continue to add to the later system. There is a need to see more in what blockchain tech, decentralization and tokenomics can offer through web3 platforms. transactions are going across our heads on daily bases and there is a need to tap in through web3 opportunities.Those who embrace the new system are sure to find opportunities to make a living and better their lives.
