Too hectic to write
I had one of those hectic days again. I never saw it coming or maybe I did when I saw a red flag yesterday. We were having a general electrical challenge in my environment. It is always fun to keep the writing coming, it makes you stay very motivated and encouraged, adding to that when you get some juicy upvotes. Hahaha, a day missed on Hive is probably a dollar gone according to what @tengolotodo taught me. Ok, I am not that fortunate to get those daily upvotes on every article. Nevertheless, we keep pushing for better days ahead.
Sometimes we just have to push ourselves a little further, just one more may be ALL you need to hit that long awaited success. I just had to encourage myself today to put up an article. Personally, I love putting up articles early enough, I am just used to it. I had arranged myself on how the day would go until I got that urgent call from a customer. It even started yesterday when my coworker told me someone is expecting our laundry service delivery by today. I had to switch gears and rearranged to meet up.

If you know me, you'll know I do switch gears a lot. Don't blame me too much, I don't enjoy being workaholic but at some point I just have to admit that there is time for everything. My business is yet to hit that big sign board. Our monthly revenue is not yet that mouth watery. Till then, I have to step in and salvage many situations. We need money for so many things and there is a big need to cut cost at every point. This gives us limited workers in the process and when urgency comes, I in particular will be running loose.
Just when I had summarized how to work, that call came in this morning, it was very urgent and I couldn't afford to return any discomforting reply to the customer. As usual, you must make them feel they are at the right place. What made the urgency more stressful was the earlier event of electrical down time we had yesterday. Working with the generator is always very inconveniencing. First, it accounts for a higher cost of expenses and a rush over work (you have to time yourself in order to meet up). This is something I always TRY to avoid so we can give our customers the best.

There was not much time to waste anymore, so I had to start processing early. At first I thought maybe by 12:PM I will be done with the first phase. You know there are always some lapses in between( that call that just came in, I have to also make sure I follow up with my relating activities of the day and more). Fortunately for me, our light issue was resolved along the line.
I was very happy about that because I will be able to have a loosed time in the process. Plus and minus, I found myself still in the office working till 4:PM. It turns out I did a lot of work underestimating, it also has its advantage as I was able to push. Dani, there is nothing here and that was how I could beat the odds.
To conclude, let me add, I was able to meet and do the necessary delivery. I felt a little weak after the entire process. My plan was to get this article out by 1:PM latest. Ah!! It is almost 5:PM, let's give up. No way!! Why not write about the entire stress of the day? You've got me there, I never saw that coming. In the end, I was able to wrap around something to keep my writing going. So what have we learned? First, never give up, do your best to meet up with your daily targets. If it becomes a habit, good for you. There is one thing I have learned about consistency, it is a skill that births greatness.
