life is about positioning yourself for what is coming. Most times we feel fortune is embedded on the developed land like the Western world alone. Here is where we are mistaken. Inasmuch as there is a need to be exposed to what is going on in advanced world, there is a need to have a replicating mentality. I haven't had the opportunity yet to travel outside the country, nevertheless, thanks to social media I have been connected daily to what is happening on the other side. When you are a lover of business, you are always scouting for opportunity.
When talking of opportunity, one needs to look beyond what is even into what isn't. Making wealth is about having a vision. From inspiration, to insight to foresight, this collection is very mandatory. I had a conversation with someone who 10x an investment he bought with expectations. It was actually a land and when he acquired that place, nothing was happening there. Without an easy road to access that place it seems it was a desolate investment. Last week shone favour on him when a public road was scraped across and he knew some millions will soon enter his pocket.
Many people are eyeing moving over to the western world. In my country Nigeria, the slang for that is 'Jakpa'. The economy is tough no doubt which is forcing people to look for possible breathing space elsewhere. Will the economy ever settle and how soon? Thinking broad is what makes a profitable investment. Even in the current situations, those businessmen who laid early foundations are making waves. I had an opportunity to travel outside the state within the week and in the process I saw many things that I tried to expand the opportunity behind. The area I will be focusing on is the spacious land size we still have in the country. In short, I have to span this across the entire African continent.

How many people make up the Earth currently? Over 8.1 billion people according to feasibility studies. The figures seems huge, nevertheless we are yet to dominate this planet. Overcrowding often seems to make the world look small in our mentality. Traveling is good at least once in a while to see beyond the crowd. The drive was upto an hour and while traveling ALL I could gaze on was the massive land. The next word that hit me was 'there are still more opportunities left'. I have seen villages turn to town within a short period of time courtesy of development. Who will occupy all this lands in the near future? humans ofcourse. What does this mean? In simple terms, demand will continue to be on the increase.
How prepared am I? The next phase of wealth will soon unravel and sincerely speaking, those in business always sweep the profit. What I saw has added to encourage me why I should push myself further in business. Even if it has to be little steps, existing as a brand will yield the needed fruit in the coming years. The next one and a half decade should be enough to manifest business successes beyond imaginations. It can even be shorter than this. We are already seeing Western world activities gradually replicating itself in Africa. Nigeria is in no way lagging behind. When looking at the essentials of life; food, shelter and clothing, you can't say you won't stay in profit when this population doubles up.

Maybe I should deal more with shelter, the real estate industry in Nigeria will remain a lucrative opportunity. Villages are gradually become towns. When I saw that massive land sizes that are desolate, I was imagining how houses will take the entire place in the future. How can I be a partaker of those who will be owning these skyscrapers? The earlier the better, financial intelligence must be displayed to stand the chance. I keep on saying it, it boils down to understanding numbers.
Let's do a little calculation here. What is the population of Nigeria? The last feasible study keeps it around 230 million people. Looking at the population density, it is expected to have around 250 people per square kilometer; nearly 600 people per square mile. The urban population is large, taking up to 54% ( more than 124 million people). Another thing to look at is fertility rate. We are talking of 4.30 children per woman. All I am seeing here is opportunity. The population is expected to double in 25 - 30 years, assuming there is consistency in the current birth rate.
To conclude let me add, there is more for those with eagle eyes. I always think very differently, maybe it is because of my addiction to doing business at a global stage. I keep on saying it, humans are opportunities, you are left to find out 'the how'. Every man walking the surface of the earth is a transaction. I haven't even entered the aspect of technology. We are seeing groundbreaking opportunities in this sector. The birthing of cryptocurrency, web3 and AI will soon show massive impact. We are all at the surface at this early phase. The fashion industry is just another sector. note that wealth always ends up in the hands of few, planning ahead will be the best of decisions, use your financial intelligence.
