Taking new grounds

To dare is to do, expansion is the core of growth. When talking from the angle of business it means the team behind it knows exactly what they are doing. At least we have heard of names of such businesses that are NOW more of household names. Where did they ALL begin? Of course from the back yard. It could have been a one person’s idea or two to three collaborating and before you know it, it sparked something that the entire world is talking of.
We can also learn from the life of a butterfly. From its pupa stage to a Caterpillar and later a grown insect ready to take to the winds.
At first stage it was limited, the second had some partial limitations since it could not take advantage of the win and finally it can NOW fly to wherever it wishes. Think of this also as an expansion. There are so many scenarios I can use to compare and it boils down to yes, whatever you are doing, think expansion.
Our business has been able to scale this far because we inputted an expandable idea instead of staying siloed. When the economy beat in hard, we were able to evolve and stay in business although there is still much to be attained. We can say yes, we are still in business; something that raises much hope of where we can reach in the near future.

Ok, so what triggered this article? First, it is another wonderful Sunday; from my end it is one of those cherished days when I sit at the feet of my Creator with other like minded brethrens. Of course this doesn't mean that I abandoned my duty post in the other seven days, NO. The command is ‘take your cross daily’. note it and do your best not to miss or mix it.
This time around, his Sunday service was different? We were out for a church planting. Didn't I talk of expansion and if all you think to expand is your personal self business then you are missing out on something very mandatory. Personally, I admired this vision when our mother branch decided to expand into the remote part of our territory. Who knows the life you can save by just taking a leap of faith.
It was a five day crusade for two weeks; the first two days was to take the street and make some necessary publications that we are coming. The second two days of the preceding week was to mount their community market and preacher at their square and the last day which was today was for us to officially open that church by conducting a full service and the spot that was given out for use.

Anyway, I wasn't expecting to be a participant of that service over there today since I had a service meeting at the headquarters. So it seems until a call came in early this morning that I have been selected to be part of those that will officially open the first ever service from our church in that particular community. At first it seems more of an inconvenience and secondly, it was a privilege.
If it is an inconvenience I still have to accept it, afterall, we no longer live for ourselves. If all you can do or plan to do for God is at your convenience then your work is yet to begin. God prefers men who love and chose him even when they don't have time.
I mean, why am I here if not to primarily expand the kingdom of my Lord Jesus Christ. Didn't he say; ‘on this rock I shall build my Church?’. First, you will have to understand that you are part of the building; yes, a part of the entire rocks that is needed to be used to establish His ecclesia.
How was the service? Indeed it was a spiritual territory expansion. The environment never saw what was coming; ‘The Holy Ghost'. Even the few persons we went with including I never knew God’s strategy until we kickstarted. God is not much interested in a well furnished building, he is first very interested in the men. There was one accordness in the few of us there and we indeed have achieved much.
To conclude, let me add, every part of that service is a memorial. From praying to bible reading and teaching. As if it was well planned, our topic was ‘LET THERE BE LIGHT’. It even shows how God loves expansion too. Every day that passes by I get to know why our Lord Jesus said, ‘I am going about doing my father's business’, the idea is expansion.
