So it was Load!!!

Being an entrepreneur comes at the cost of learning and if fast, even better. What you don't know is above you was one of the statements my teacher used to make. Aside from being an entrepreneur, I am also a brand manager meaning I have to look for possible ways to curtail cost. One of those areas currently has been in the area of energy.

I must say I have seen improvement in general electricity. God has indeed come to our rescue again. When I discovered we will have to spend money in the million plus to secure a generator that will be able to substitute for at least a 6 to 8 hours steady light it really disrupted many of my plans.

Nevertheless, lessons are meant to expand your thinking capacity. Talking of that, I have really been concerned on proper energy management. We have two generators both of which are 3KVA in maximized energy. Have you ever wondered why your neighbors generator is lasting longer than yours assuming your bought the same litres of fuel to run yours?.

This is ALL about problem solving. I recently discovered why big businesses love it big. A friend of mine some years ago told me about economic waste and indeed this is something small scale entrepreneurs are really used to. bulk buying has advantages both in goods, equipment and machinery.

Those two generators are each incapable of delivering this company as we are expanding. In short, it has been giving us losses we never paid attention to.

First, we have to talk about usage. This was the first thing I discovered, the time in which the generator is on is not always properly utilized. We will have to keep some appliances and equipment off to meet up. This was why I turned my focus earlier this year to a lister engine, at least, we can utilize every minute when it is on.

The next thing I will be looking at is consumption and machines lasting. This is entrepreneurial physics here; A good physics student will understand the concept of Hooke’s Law and the chart that follows suit. My focus is on strain, so I ask again, why would my neighbor's gen last longer than mine? Strain and nothing much.

I was doing some personal research too with an AI chat and it concurred very well to what I was expecting. check this out above To conclude, let me add, I guess the screenshot above summarizes a lot about proper energy management. Some ‘economy activities’ in business are a long term drainer. Consider losing 7.4 hours (let's assume you buy 10 litres of PMS weekly) of extra office operation energy just because you opted to buy a lesser KVA generator. How much was the 3KVA, maybe N300K and the 5KVA was worth N500k. With the right calculations you should know that this is a very big loss. I haven't even entered into the consequences of strain which is regular repair and maintenance. Add it up at the end of the year and well, you lost some vital bucks. Entrepreneurship is a big industry to draft out your chart much efficiently, we keep learning.
