More hopes for tech

My considerations for what I am about to put up is more about what this will in general add to blockchain, crypto, web3 and artificial intelligence. I have discussed severally the need for exposure into the tech space.

It has been something that many individuals and governments alike have been very ignorant of. In one of my articles, I also discussed how Europe has chosen to be behind in this new exploding tech. I feel it will cost them in the long run.

That said, let me focus more on how women tech development and empowerment schemes will help grow this industry. I read one of such notices in a platform I am a member of and it cited a current women free tech scheme. We have to consider how women have been behind when it comes to tech, especially on African soil. It was something very welcoming for me, I was looking at the bigger picture; ‘awareness creation’.

I had to do a quick research and the figures are in no means encouraging. First, the population of women globally is much more than men with a good gap yet their percentage involvement in global tech is lingering between 25-30%. There are some factors to consider here; first we are operating in a world that is dominated by men. Let's not go into any debate or argument on this, the solution is to find a possible way to expose more women. Dominance will remain a normal thing.

In the African settings the matter even gets worsened. At least we are seeing awareness of female gender considerations increasing. This is something that will add up to the growth of the global space. Another thing to consider here is that big firms are not still too sure of female accuracy and tenacity in handling deep tech.

Top tech company like Google hold a female workforce of around 30%. This tells you that that trust for women to handle tech positions is still biased or maybe uncertain.

This is likely to shift at least in the Next two to three decades. I can say we will see this percentage shift maybe to 40%. That figure is huge. So what does this entail? More investors adding up to even more investors. The Internet is becoming a global virtual house.

There are many things to consider; women are gradually making up a good number in the entrepreneurial space. With more exposure comes more curiosity, how will this influence the RWA (Real world Assets) tokenization markets?

Let's also consider the cryptocurrency markets, how will women tech empowerment schemes feed in here? A lot I must say. From my own experience, women are very fragile when it comes to online investments. A lot of sensitization needs to be done especially for the upcoming female youths.

Personally, I feel this is something I should be focusing on in the future. But first I will have to set a lot of things in place. My focus will be mostly on the African soil. This will help to eradicate poverty. **Adding to that, it also serves as a way to recruit more people to the world of web3. I remember I told my sister about Hive and crypto investment and it still seemed very uncertain to her.

Maybe she is waiting for me to get my financial freedom from here first before she realizes this was never a joke. Financial freedom I will get, nevertheless, I won't want her to be wasting such precious time. I will do well to send her the link, let's just hope she will be interested.

To conclude, let me add, there is still much to be considered as advantages of female tech sensitization programs. We are moving into an ecosystem of a shrinking human labor force.

In the absence of the internet and deeper tech experience this gender is likely to become siloed. This will lead to more unemployment and an economic backlash. More women need to get into the world of tech and in the process pass it down to many others of them.

Artificial intelligence is breaking in and as we speak many of them are very unaware. I have such friends who are just focused on schooling for papers and very absent minded about tech. I had such a conversation with one and after my sensitization she was somewhat afraid as she came to realize there is a fusion/restructuring in the workforce market. I will do well to follow up this one or at least do other related research on how this sensitization scheme is going on globally.
