Missing the era
Last night I heard a cock crowing. It sounded strange in two ways. First, we are living in the heart of the town and it has been a while since I heard such things. I mean, when I was growing up, we were reliant on this God made alarm a.k.a, cocks. Expect them from around 5:AM up, it helped us as pupils or students by then. It still boils back to how nature had already figured out many things before humans did.
Secondly, the timing of that crowing was strange. At around 2:AM in the morning. Has the town become so busy and advanced that the cocks alarm failed in timing? I had to reflect back to the era we currently are in.
Talking of such, I must say many are yet to even realize what is going on. I am not saying I am a tech guru or have become so advanced, NO. But at least I can talk of a possible awareness and the concerns to continue pushing into it to become more aware of what is going on. You can say abstaining from technology also has its advantages. I wouldn't personally advise us to completely soak ourselves into any tech. For instance, social media is very noisy with so much information cutting in and turning out to be fake.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't advise you to completely log yourself out. There are many channels and influencers I don't follow. I take my picks but in the totality of everything, I keep my ears to what is going. Unawareness is one of the worst forms of danger. It is like waiting to be swept away by an unexpected flood.
Many as we speak are still stuck in the survival lane. Internet money making sounds very strange to them. ALL they know is that human energy and time are the normal tactics to apply to make money. It can be surprising how many are still in this era missing out in such a big opportunity. There were times I was also a victim of this situation, as I earlier said, keep pressing and you will find what you need.
The internet is a well of abundance, speaking of abundance, this figure is about to improve in percentage. Many are fighting it as we speak. When talking of what web3 and AI has to offer, you can't doubt these figures and also its easy spreading. In the midst of this, many are still relying on being mechanical. I mean, these people have smart phones, they are open to the internet to do necessary research or even TRY out this technology to know how true it is.

As we speak, many don't even know about artificial intelligence, many don't even know about web3. The same continues with blockchain tech and cryptocurrency. You begin to imagine when they will finally wake up. Many by NOW would have improved their standards of living only if they cared to give attention. I can tell you that why I joined Hive as an ecosystem is because I refused to be ignorant. Aside from the rewards which have been part of the encouragement, I can also talk about exposure.
I just introduced a friend to AI apps that could help him meet up his daily tasks much more efficiently and he was very surprised. The fact is, it is how surprised he was that baffled me, I am not trying to take pride in knowledge. At least I knew about AI since 2022 if I am not mistaken and I felt he should have known more of this technology by now.
He had a smart phone and has many social media handles. I know he spend a some time on them but I am surprised he had never for once considered a post on artificial intelligence or even cared to make personal research.
To conclude, let me add, remaining ignorant in this era is a big risk to take. I am even considering how fast technology is moving. A lot of sensitization is needed, another thing to consider is, are they even willing to listen.
We are dealing with humans and most times learning from experience is the most preferred. Inasmuch as many will benefit from AI, many will also fall early victim to ignorance. Are big companies already not laying off?
