It crawls into reality

I was some days ago trying to compare the situation of my country and others which is at some point much more inconveniencing. Oppression is oppression but the fact is, when one is oppressed too much, there is likelihood of characterizing it into sections; at least this one is much lighter than the other.

It has been the fate in many countries. I was posting on my timeline about the just concluded North Korea election and was trying to compare it to how it happens in my country. One can say over here; that the election is tiny percent fair as compared to when it is only one man’s name on the ballot.

So yes, we are talking of a 100% vote in their last concluded election in North Korea and we complain over here during our President election that a huge vote went where we least expected.

source Currently in North Korea, there has been a family power transfer for the last three rulers and we have heard of news on how the current predecessor is choosing his daughter as a successor. And the question in-between is; ‘is North Korea under a Monarchy government’. And the reply you get is NO. It has been on a dictatorship for decades.

Where am I getting here? It ALL started somewhere and when tolerance is given, it improves. This was the feedback I got from him while analyzing how strict the government is elsewhere. His feedback was, there is a need to complain about bad governance at least, to alert them from stepping further into more stricter rules.

I got his point, what is happening currently in our country wasn't so. It came in at some point and it is improving; give someone a foot and expect him to take two overtime. politics is evolving and is becoming much dirtier as years unravel. The push for power and control is taking away any mindset that had to do with conscience; this is how bad things can gradually crawl in.

To conclude, let me add, we have seen the fate of Russia and North Korea. Government is more of a test running for further improvement. I can remember when Vats was newly introduced; a panic first and compliance later. So has it currently stepped up with taxes. As we speak, many citizens feel relieved despite having to spend the highest currency daily just for daily bread.

You can remember how bad it was some earlier years when money was near worthlessness. That can be the mentality, press them hard, and relieve them a little, this can be seen as liberty. Someone inside the water will be panting for as little air as possible. We keep praying for the best even in our very nation, there is no need of being ignorant, many things are gradually crawling into reality.
