ICT requirement to help introduce youth more to tech

This is something that is welcoming. I once said one of the sets of people that know how to get things done much faster are the government; ‘humans love pressure’. There is no doubting this, when it becomes compulsory it shows seriously. I just got one such news today concerning our nation that the government is saying ALL examinations at the secondary class level will be computer based.

Computer based examinations are becoming one of those trends. We have seen how JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) over here have incorporated it into their yearly examinations and it is working out. Maybe this is why the government are taking further steps. First, it makes admissions and recruiting much easier, the government in corporation with institutional body are able to easily make their money without passing through so many third party hands

Greenlights!!! Many may not know what this means, a lot over here are still not familiar with tech applications. Our country no doubt is really running fast in the issues of technological adoption but the upcoming age is lacking. This lacking behind has its advantage and also a disadvantage.

The advantage is that it will help brood a much better generation considering how too much exposure to the Internet adds up to spoil the upcoming. It has been something very worrisome; a single click into this virtual space and the whole world is on your palms.

Anyway, many believe whoever wants to be bad will end up bad. The fact is that the internet is big Enough for you to create a niche that adds to you and stay there. Something very difficult very difficult to discuss and win over a newbie no doubts; their mentality is very fragile. They will want to dare everything and everywhere and it mostly leads to wrong affiliations and a battered life.

Looking away from that, let's look at the positive side. I see this as a ‘catch them young’ opportunity. We will in this article be looking at how this government move will affect the national economy, investors market and web3 in general. You can't doubt the importance of many eyes to every form of business.

I am looking at the youth population. It beats the adult. How about the upcoming teenage age? Something to even take a closer look at. The underlying fact is that the setback within youth population is that many falling within this line are not still computer literate. Trust me, it even goes beyond owning a smart phone.

Most are just on social media and that's all. Talk about a little inside computer usage like trading, swapping of tokens not to enter the realms of coding and web3 environment and you are making the matters worse. Maybe we will be seeing a reversing gear from here.

With our teenagers getting more exposure to computers at the big screen, it will create environment familiarity. It becomes easy to draw them in from here. I have talked about how teenagers needs to be exposed to the world of investing. Web3 is one of those; at least over here, you don't need to much money to become an investor.

In short, you can start your financial Journey with a zero account. Take Hive for instance; just put in the needed time and you are likely to see some investment bucks to start up with.

This is why I keep sounding the preparation alarm for web3. New investors are coming and how prepared this place is will determine a lot.

What I am discussing here will not only stop in the borders of our nation, many African countries will optimize their mode of operation. Everything is going internet base. It was one of such things still added up during this news announcement that pending government vacancies require every applicant to be computer literate. Even some who are post graduate will still have to revisit ICT trainings.

To conclude, let me add, the value for the internet space will continue to expand. We have to admit its flexibility in mode of operation. This bold step by the government to draw teenagers to the table of computer literacy will go a long way. Internet activities will increase; new investors in different markets.

Currently, just to meet up with this government demands ahead of time, many organizations are teaming up to provide paid, subsidized or free computer training classes so that many will meet up. This is showing how serious the process is. To me, all a see is a future opportunities.
