For the past few days, I have been writing about the current war that has stirred up in the Middle East. US citizens in the Middle East are one way or the other stranded. Of course they are not the only set of travellers that went on vacations or trips, the point is, they have become a TOP target.

I was watching a video where an Israeli was stigmatized inside a Turkish train; many things are boiling up recently and some US citizens suggest Trump should have given an early alert to US citizens in the Middle East before their joint attack on Iran. We can talk of a challenge of bad communication here from what is just playing out.

Anyway, one needs to understand that the criteria for such an attack to be successful is secrecy. Consider how fast information can spread. Unless they are saying President Trump shouldn't have involved himself and the country entirely but if the former is what they think; failure would have been inevitable.

Ok, this is not the main article for today; getting straight to daily businessing. I was talking with one of my early mentors and we happened to be sharing business ideas. He was anchoring on how bad some business persons can be (focusing more on SMEs when it comes to communicating).

Many feel that business is ALL about exchanging service or goods for money. If you can deliver top notch services, then the ladder gets expanded to your favor. This can be partially true, if it was actually so in the past, not NOW.

You can ignorantly become a pick pocket entrepreneur as well, overtime you will become irritating to customers and well, if they find a nearby solution, they will switch.

So where are we heading here? What are your extra services as an entrepreneur? Customers wants to feel among, don't be surprised how customers can stick to an unstandardized service or product than yours because of the bond they have formed with that business premise.

Do you know some customers even get too busy and they forget what to do at the needed time. This is where you can also step in; just a call or a text message to know how they are fairing can put a deal on your table. How much did it cost you? Just a few bucks that you can squeeze away anytime.

We can also look at professional pricing too. How do you fix prices of your services especially as an SME? I guess it's time to put an end to that casual presence pricing. When I started, I underestimated the value of the receipt and it got very difficult to peg my services at a good price. Going for pickup or a customer rushing into your office can cause you an underpricing.

So what do I do, sir please when getting to the office I will forward your receipt or I can sit there to instantly generate the company’s receipt for you. If you are in the office and have enough time to wait we can do the same or you can still serve yourself some time as we will send it to your DM. Isn't that good business? Of course you can't price or underprice a receipt.

To conclude, let me add, I have been there many times; ‘Oh! Thanks for texting or calling, I was even thinking of communicating with you earlier enough, I just kept forgetting, please come and pick up some clothes for laundry’. Case closed and you in the process continually stay in business. In summary, relationships remain key to productive businessing. As an entrepreneur, solving problems beyond just your focused services or products is a business tactic.
