When you miss writing for a day or two, it can be difficult to get back in. I must say I had a good and long night sleep last night and well, it came at a cost. I had to put some things on the forgone alternatives list and putting out an article became one of those. It was a busy day anyway with so many things achieved in-between so I decided I should halt some things, I couldn't even meet up with the training last evening and I will be doing a revisit to all the conversations.

It has been one of the strategies I am personally working on. That old saying is using one stone to catch two birds. Or on an upgrade, many birds in the process. I have been following up with a mentorship training and I must say, there is a need to pursue genuineness. Yes, there are lots of rewards you can reap from integrity.

You wonder why some people enjoy being crooks. Anyway, it opens up an opportunity for genuine people to flourish. A mentor once told me; ‘Fake is proof there is an original’. If you can be that original, you become a rare gem.

Taking a rare gem, this mentor is one of those. We have been learning from her on how to take advantage of the global market as concerns to exportation. Exportpreneur can be a life changing business if you give it time. I was looking for one of those high income skills to add up and yes, I can say, this next step is not bad.

Ok, the concerns of this article was about a ‘double market strategy’, so how does all this relate? Well, if all her students become better in exportation business, she has the hedge of also being a supplier. This is her having a ready-made market in and out. So how about that? I call it, ‘the double market strategy’. Some people you see as threats can be the opportunity you need.

It has been one of those things I have been looking forward to as concerns to my business. Many people in my area are into the fashion and designing business. It has become something very competitive. Personally, I am not interested in joining in such door to door competition, rather, take advantage.

We are planning to sell bulk materials; something I know will also help advertise our brand. While also sourcing for customers, we can make all those sewing around here to be patronizing by buying quality and affordable fabrics from us. The idea is to sell exactly at market price. Consider how we cut both stress and additional expenses in the process. A win-win and indeed a smart move.

To conclude, let me add, I have learnt from the mentorship exercise and also how I can leverage entrepreneurs in my field to do a broader business. Success in business is about how broad one can think, there is always an opportunity for those who understand how to connect every needed dots to do business.
