Creativity in space

I wanted to title this article ‘Hang around, pick something’ and as we see it, there has been a quick switch. Maybe something to create from another day’s article. I just picked something else fascinating and yes, educating too and I feel the need to give it out much early.

Ok, this is not a scifi movie thing as related to the space involved in the article. I don't want you thinking of the Next warship or space launched project. I could remember such movies like Transformers when a car jumps up in space and totally transforms into something else for its safety measures. It was a captivating film trick that kept us always wanting to watch.

We will be delving completely on planet Earth unless you choose to do your own business out of space like Elon Musk and his SpaceX team.

There is one advantage of being a social manager; you in the process have diverse knowledge concerning many things. Yes, you may not be too good, but fitting in during urgent times becomes one of your values. I guess Jack of ALL trades, master of none. It depends who the Jack is because for a smart entrepreneur, this presents an opportunity.

I was going through a seminar yesterday by a standout entrepreneur who was doing some coaching. She explained how she sold all her shares just to fix business to both her and her customer's taste. Yes, that can be a big risk if it flops and yes also, a big story if it succeeds. So an entrepreneurial advice here is, look before you leap or perhaps; can we also say leap and start looking?

I talked about such an article some days ago, how a company transformed from its onset sector to something else very different and has stayed in profit till date.

The first stage here was the vice; ‘the leaped first and then started looking’. Entrepreneurship is one of the hardest courses, this one is not mere words or PEN on paper, we are talking of field work and field results here.

I took something from her seminar, a very strong few words. According to her, entrepreneurship is like standing by a cliff and choosing to jump. The moment you jump all you have to do is to create an aeroplane while in motion to take you up as fast as possible or your end is doom.

Did you hear that? So it means the moment to create a business the certain direction is bankruptcy and your duty is to play against the odds.

Does one even need to practice how to fail in business? Of course not, it can naturally come. How about to succeed? Sit up, do this, do that; that's why it is called kicking against odds. How many businesses fail yearly? How about in the next five years? It was one of those analyses that almost Broke my heart when I jumped into this field. How better off am I over those that failed?.

So who is an entrepreneur? Ok, let's just run around basic but just say, what can be a vital attribute of an entrepreneur? If you were to ask me, I would say being creative. When I talk of creativity I mean before, during and after. Like the coaching advice puts, Jumping off a cliff and becoming creative to get back up. First, you will realize you will have to come near the cliff. What will take you there if not your daring creativity. How about jumping off? Here is where I see the boldness to put risk (risk is a creative mentality).

Did you even know that after successfully building the plane to get back up, you will have the duty of servicing that place or keeping it in good condition so you don't fall back. So even inside the plane, creativity is inevitable.

To conclude, let me add, becoming a talk of the town entrepreneur will require sacrifice; your brain will be put to test. Expanding even more, you will need to align parts of yourself, from your mind to your smartness, you will pull out one stunning display that can force a profit. As a wannabe entrepreneur, I guess the first question to ask and answer yourself is, can I survive a crash and how fast. This boils down to creativity.
