Community mindset + LPUD (Leo power up Day)
I am very glad I have broken ALL old time records about my LEO stakes on LPUD. Of course you don't need to be reminded, or maybe I should, it's 15th October and it means it's Leo ⇪ Day×. Keep a date with every 15th of the month to increase your Leo Power and you won't want to miss it for many reasons. I gave myself a challenge of breaking old time records of my all time high Leo power on every 15th and I have done just that. The energy you get once you fulfill expectations is always very positive. I had to put a lot of work into it I must say, nevertheless, the fun was very encouraging.
I will be discussing community mindset but let me just stay a little in this my little yet very important achievement. How did I get to this new height? Simple, discipline equals reward. I had to give in the time to stay around on platform and be involved in a lot of needed activities that keeps adding to this frontend and Hive in general. I have become so engaged on Leo Threads and I must say I have met new life changing friends in the process. You need encouragers especially those who have had experiences, it is a needed backup to thrust yourself. Ideas springs and opportunities open up when you engage with like minded people.
Speaking of which, maybe I should switch gears or perhaps just flow in the other part of this article. Community mindset matters, a lot of us fail to understand what a community actually is. In my own short description I will say a selected niche with a common vision. Maybe I will throw in other definitions in later part of the article. What is hive? What is inleo? and much more expansively, what is web3? We can define them as platforms, gateway, apps, front ends, blockchains and also community. All the definitions are right but let us ponder on a more strong word in which we most take lightly and that is community.
So where did this article's motivation come from? Actually I was reading an article from one of Hive and InLeo community member @behiver. It was indeed a needed read, check out through this link

The article topic already has much of itself. Aside from Hive being a blockchain, he later transitioned to one of the most important parts of this chain which makes it a community. Inleo is not exempted as a community. Our pursuit for tangible MAU's (monthly active users) will easily be achieved if we think more of a community rather than just a chain for individual progress. Those atop must foster on how to grow those that are upcoming; they need you, you need them too.
User or community member?
Who are you on hive, inleo? A regular user or a community member? The entire idea around this system is growth and without 'community mentality' we will be far from this. What is our vision for this community in the next 3 to 5 years? Of course everyone wants to stack. It's good and very encouraging yet the ability to use your stake power efficiently to improve other will matter. Adding to that, let's look beyond financial tippings to engagement, many atop don't bother about this. Spending your time with new or upcoming users is very mandatory, your ideas come with experience. Why do you think lions live in packs or bees in hives too? Their secret is not in individuality but collectiveness.

I had to emphasize one of his many ideas and I added he was actually thinking like a community member. It's a rare thing to see and you must appreciate such. Did you see his later response? Maybe I should zoom in a little.

I think these few words carry a lot of meaning. The bees know this and so also the lion. Would you run for your life because of a single bee attack? Of course not, how about a swarm of bees? Run!! And I mean run!!! You are dealing with an organized community NOW. What makes lions the king of the Jungle? At an individual strength, pound for pounds, scientist believe a weasel is stronger than a lion but the lion has the pack hedge. Can one lion take down a Buffalo? Of course not, when I watch national geographic channels, I am always amazed how they plan out successful ambushes. They are not the only carnivores out there but they remain the most organized.
To conclude, let me add, competitors are out there, web3 is just growing and the future is far brighter. There is a need for Hive to position itself as a community beyond blockchain and so also should inleo look beyond just a platform or a frontend, 'we are a community' and we should put all necessary effort so we can TOP the food chain.
Adding also, I have a task at hand, of course I will have to break this my new records of monthly Leo power. It means I will have to step up and do more to forge ahead. I will do well to relentlessly take this challenge, it will be fun all the way as usual. It's LPUD, do well to power up some Leo tokens, nothing is too small. As I earlier said, community mindset is all we need to thrive. Wishing us all a wonderful Leo Power Up day.
