Broader market

Everyone is selling, only a few are selling in a broader market. These few words are life changing. A friend told me this week, you can be good but die a local champion. I had to take it in smartly because actually I am not yet very visible in the world of business.
A good entrepreneur will heed to clever instructions. In short, anyone that wants growth should listen and admit needed weaknesses, this is how you can grow.
Poor marketing; this is something I am working to change and yes, spend the needed money to achieve this. People believe what they see, this is what our brand ambassador told me. I had to admit it. Cooking a good meal can be one thing, many eyes knowing about it is another. I can remember that statement from Our Lord Jesus; ‘how will they know if you don't tell them?’.

I don't know whether it has been fear or self doubts but we have broken out of that. I want to manage this brand in grand style from this year onward and the goal; better revenue. It is high time we shift those figures and indeed shift it big; this is not a road side business but a brand. Finding ways to catch the needed attention is very necessary.
Talking of attention; let us not just limit ourselves to local advertising. Yes, many just stop in closed door marketing. This can be you competing to win over a customer base in a sample size of 1000. This could be you making your product just for the locality. And one will feel, stare and country wise is a big achievement. As Alibaba, Amazon, Ebay and co, then you will know you are very far from what is going on.
‘As much as you can see, shall be handed over unto you’. This was a promise God made to Abraham. What is the population of your State? We can be talking in the tens of millions here. How about your country? In the hundreds of millions I assume. What is the current world population?

We are talking of an assumed 8.1 billion people with close to 70% having Internet access. We are roughly looking at 6 billion people being active online globally. So why fuse yourself to a street, a locality, a state or even a country. I had in many cases stated the fact that what we do is not basically the challenge but actually how we are doing it. In this context of ‘the how's, where we are selling id of high concerns.
To conclude, let me add, I am just doing a brush over of a bigger article. I will be delving much deeper into this when I will be focusing largely on e-commerce. The take home here is; ‘there is a broader market to do business’. That ‘no customer mentality’ is in actuality not true. This writing is to guide small scale or wannabe entrepreneurs; just do you home work well.
