Have you been there? Maybe I should start off from my school days when I was applying for tertiary education. There were list of faculty to fill in. We had the Most preferred and more preferred columns. I think it had three columns for that; three different tertiary education and courses should in case you don't meet up with your most preferred cut off point.

Ok, I didn't meet up and that was how I had to switch from industrial physics to computer science. In short, if you should ask me if I would later love a switch from computer science I will say a big no.

So where are we heading here? I am trying to pull out an illustration that is fitting for this article. The moment I got acquainted with computer science and its terminologies, I didn't feel like going back again.

It is very difficult to change what we do so the best solution is to advance it. I have seen some people who over many years are still sticking to old business. I can't even exempt myself; for the last five years I have been focusing on building my business out as a brand. The word ‘brand’ is worth noting as we will be on that in the later and most part of this article.

job, work or skills, they ALL form your habit. It becomes part of your way of life. One needs to understand that this is what puts food on the table and yes, it can be a snare if you don't know how to go about it. I have seen people who only boast of what they do, some even more than a decade or decades to be more precise but nothing to show for. That same field, someone just stepped in and in three to five years has been able to establish himself. So what can be the difference?

Maybe a considering analysis is; why is an old school tailor missing out on deals in this era? Simple, no one wants tailoring jobs anymore. Yes, clients are after fashion designers. The threading, the clothes combination, the finishing are all that adds up to differentiate the later from the former. Everyone wants to look good; you can call it packaging but to some point, there is a need. That saying, dress the way you want to be addressed.

In short this one paragraph example is enough to put this article in a conclusion. Successful business is about upgrading; they ate eggs five years ago but NOW they are after scorched eggs, just scotch the egg, period. What has been the upgrade in your business premises to even start with. Can a customer boldly bring his friend to your working space? Little details that add up.

You are still running your business with outdated machinery and equipment. Being analog can be discouraging in an advanced era like this. You have to understand that people are traveling around the world everyday and every second. The mobile phone is enough to achieve this. They are watching trends and you as an entrepreneur should not be left behind.

To conclude,let me add; still bothered why it is not working as it ought to? Just press the advance button. I must say that I personally also have to advance to meet up the vision of this brand. What you are doing will give you what you need today but for tomorrow, it is how you will be doing it.
