SAKURA IGAWA, THE LOVER OF SHADOWS

Happy artistic Thursday to everyone at #sketchbook!

I hope everyone starts today off well with good ideas to create and post here on #hive.

In my case, I'm starting with a post featuring one of my first pieces of work from 2026, which I only decided to share today. It's part of my new creative phase where I've slowed down my drawing speed to achieve cleaner and more detailed results. This one I did in an hour and a half. It's a character from a video game called Action Taimanin, which I transformed into almost a villain, giving it my personal style by creating two shadows: one of an evil Buddha and the other of a dark lion. It's truly an illustration I really like, and now, as always, I'll show you the process.
