Ayer en la tarde una mantis religiosa se coló en mi casa, estos son unos insectos viven en los trópicos, deben su nombre a que sus patas delanteras tienen posición de oración. Son carnívoros, pues comen insectos, los caza con sus patas delanteras, que tienen unas espinas que logran atrapar a sus presas vivas y se alimenta de ellos; no son venenosos, es capaz de cazar lagartijas, pequeñas ranas, ratoncitos, grillos y polillas, entre otros, todo depende de su tamaño, también se comen a los de su propia especie.

Yesterday afternoon a praying mantis snuck into my house, these are insects that live in the tropics, they owe their name to the fact that their front legs have a praying position. They are carnivores, because they eat insects, they hunt them with their front legs, which have thorns that manage to catch their prey alive and feed on them; they are not poisonous, they are capable of hunting lizards, small frogs, mice, crickets and moths, among others, all depending on their size, they also eat their own kind.
