XDefiant has a map inspired by Googleplex
Nudleplex = Googleplex 🗺️
One of my favorite things about XDefiant so far is how well the maps are designed. There are currently 14 different maps in total, but my favorite so far is called Nudleplex. This arena may look very familiar as it was inspired by Google's famous work campus called Googleplex. You may have heard of Googleplex before. It's a fun and futuristic work environment.
This map looks absolutely gorgeous and the layout works perfectly. There is so much color throughout Nudleplex and many different abstract structures. There's even an area with arcade machines playing some vibey EDM music.
In today's video, I wanted to show off Nudleplex while playing this really cool game mode called Hotshot. This mode is very similar to kill confirmed except for the fact that there will be a hotshot running around the map with increased speed and other skills. This is a unique take on the popular kill-confirmed mode and I actually like it better.

This gives me huge Black Ops 2 vibes (the one I played the most with friends on Xbox 360 alongside MW1); not just the presentation and gameplay style but also the Googleplex map reminding me of a certain map there that looked like a futuristic mall too.
It might get a fair share of attention from this free beta test, but I'd say that it might only keep that momentum from it being fresh new if it does end up releasing as a free-to-play game without insiduous microtranscations for pay-2-win mechanics (dreaming is free I guess) or at least has some good meat to the bone that ends up being its price tag.
Nice that you can try it out though! Seems surprisingly stable but hopefully it doesn't get Ubisoft'd later down the ine.
It definitely feels like a modern version of the older Black Ops games that we all remember and miss so much.
So far things seem to be going well, but Ubisoft has messed up good games before. I have faith in Mark Rubin (ex-Executive Producer at COD) and now with Ubisoft San Fran. The promise is no pay-to-win or sbmm. Supposed to be camo challenges and a prestige mode too. Sounds too good to be true, but I will keep believing until otherwise is proven by a terrible update. Fingers crossed it just keeps sailing smoothly.
Having mostly played games on PC all these years it's just baffling to me seeing people aim like this with a controller. I need auto aim turned on for all games on my PS5 that has any kind of aiming like this involved. Boomer hands.
See I'm the total opposite. I've literally never in my life played a shooter with a mouse and keyboard. Crazy I know. I was given a controller as a kid, so it's what I know and am most familiar with. But even I am not at the top level of controller mastery. Some people are so damn good with the sticks.
Do I have you added on PSN? I don’t veliegr that I do. Would be cool to compare games and trophies, My account is Thr3EyeMindGames, feel free to send a closed request, whichever you prefer is fine.
Done! I tried adding you back when I got the console but the search function was down and then I forgot about it. I haven't played to much yet but we most likely have some games in common. I pretty much just stick to whatever the PS+ subscription is giving me. Currently Death Stranding.
I have been playing only the free or included with subscription games all of this year. I’ve refrained from spending a bunch of extra money. On day one releases. The included offerings are just so good so I can easily wait for sales on new games like Hogwarts, Star Wars, and Diablo.
I watched my brother play about and hour of Death Stranding last month. It was undeniably gorgeous. Wasn’t for me though.
I'm a patient gamer myself and the only two games I've bought on release day in recent years are Elden Ring and Diablo 4. Pretty much everything else has been bought on sale.
It was between Death Stranding and the FF7 Remake for my next game. I've heard so many differing opinions about Death Stranding that I would probably never have played it if it wasn't included in the sub. It's weird and different but I don't regret starting it at all.
I did actually enjoy quite a bit of FF7, but ultimately couldn’t commit to finishing it.
😎🤙 I like that cloaking!
but why didn't u go jump in those colorful, plastic balls pit I saw towards the end?? :P
We weren't allowed in the ball pits. Some little kid shit in it and they had yet to clean it thoroughly.
😂😣💩
You are the first person that I know who wrote about this game. It seem to be an amazing one
Maybe the first on Hive, but it is spreading like wildfire elsewhere here lately.
Lol 😆
The hunter has become the hunter
I like your invisible sneak kill.
It's a nice gameplay and the environment is cool
Going invisible is such a powerful tactic. You can still slightly see the character, but not if you're looking elsewhere on the screen. Very easy to missed a cloaked echelon agent.
Graphics are pretty awesome... that's always super important!
Get ready to learn xdefiant 😊Hope you have a great day @daltono, thanks for the info
I think it could become as popular as COD if the developers stick with their current path and mindset.
Nudleplex si es cierto luce genial amigo @daltono se ve un ecosistema futurista.
Interesting but I didn't know about that before. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.
I'm not into gaming, but It's a good way to kill your extra time.
