I had my first $100/hr Instacart order
Just when I thought Instacart was dying 🪦🥕🪦
Today's video is overwhelmingly positive. I netted my highest-paying Instacart order this past Wednesday afternoon. It was two of my regular customers combined into one order. They both tipped well, but the second order blew my mind and went above and beyond what people normally do.
The old man at house #2 lived on the 17th floor of an apartment building, which wasn't fun to get to and I think he knew that. I carried over a dozen bags on one arm and made my way up, good thing I'm no longer a weakling.
He left a $30 tip in the app, but as I opened his door and delivered he also handed me $50 cash. I think you can do the math, that's an $80 tip. Plus my other customer left me $11 through the app and Instacart paid me my chump change sum of $7. I cannot be thankful enough for my customers. Instacart on the other hand, can choke on a dick. They've been starving me for orders here lately and batch pay is atrocious. Such a greedy company, but hey at least they connect me with some awesome customers who make sure I'm paid a livable wage.
I recorded this vid right after I got home from delivering this huge order, the hype hadn't died off yet. The fact that it took me a few seconds under an hour is amazing. This means I made $100/hr for the first time ever. It's going to be hard to top that in the future.

It's a possibility, but I didn't want to bring it up and spoil the moment.
No I would definitely stay silent about that and just assume that they were feeling extra generous and/or appreciative.
