Trying to be a pro at Fortnite and failing

It's crazy to say that Fortnite is basically the only video game that I've played for over an hour during the month of May 2023. I ended up purchasing the battle pass and that has made me feel like I have even more responsibility to play consistently. I've already completed the bp, but am now working on the bonus rewards, which take a long time to acquire. I only have until June 2nd, so hopefully, I can manage to get it completed.
In today's video, I was really hoping to pull out a win, but it just did not happen. I ended up getting one of the lightsabers, which also comes with a force ability now, and I must say it is a lot of fun being a Jedi in Fortnite. You have increased speed, a useful double jump, force push/pull/throw (depending on the lightsaber), and you can even block bullets momentarily. Plus you can take out a fully shielded opponent in just a few hits.
You will get to see me wreck a guy with the lightsaber, but soon after I end up dying much early than I expected to, Despite not being my best performance, it is still an enjoyable gameplay video I think. Plenty of commentary from me to go along with it too.

I used to wish the same and now that I finally do I don't play them nearly as much as I thought I would.
My son is getting really good he is 6. I got him the PS5 last year. He got into the game about 2 mos ago... Now ita ALL he wants to do as soon as he gets off school.
It's literally so fun. People of all ages seem to love it. It's truly a game for everyone.

I forgot to ask do you play MW2? as it's crossplay could be a gaming possibility :) i've also ried to recruit @meesterboom - i need trusty non 10 year old reliable operators - as muppets populate my ranked mp matches with the odd exception - ps played this once, may have to have another dabble
I played MW2 a lot when it first came out last fall. I have gotten tired of it though. COD just isn't what it used to be for me. I could play it for an entire year before, but now my excitement wears off after a few months. Maybe it is because there are so many other great games.
Ah interesting, I find this COD as close to the original MW, and for that it's my most played game, i tend to dominate small maps - doesn't seem to have many campers too
World at War is my favorite one. The only one that had tanks in it. It was so fun and I was damn good at it. That was back in the day where I got to play with all of my irl friends from school. Now they have all vanished from my life. I play solo almost always unless with my brother occasionally.

I never really had any love for the game, although most of my friends play it.
The other problem is that I don't really have the time to dedicate so much time into competitive games anymore, I like my single player offlines lately... But if I were to buy the BP I would have most likely made the time to play.

It is a pretty competitive game. Talking about riding the edge of a heart attack, wait until you experience a top 5 moment battling for the win. It gets very intense.

The only game I was addicted to during my childhood days was Mario. The violence in the games make me really upset and uncomfortable so I can't play them for a long. Racing and strategy game I like.
Mario was and is still a great game. I loved Super Mario Odyssey. I look forward to seeing the next big Mario game. I plan to watch the movie soon, just haven't had the time to yet.

He was really bad. There are a lot of people who are downright terrible at the game yet play it nonstop. Mostly kids, but even some adults that just aren't the greatest gamers.
I wish that you will get reward although you have short time but I am sure that you will get. Don't worry you are gem.

I think I am one of the only avid gamers out there that has NEVER played Fortnite.
I used to be like you, but once I finally have it a chance I realized how much fun I've been missing out on. It's become one of my favorite games since they added Zero Build.
I loved Tekken 3 game the most in my childhood and we were friends with each other. And lee was my favorite player I've played with every game I've ever played.
It looks to like pubg :D I have played pubg, but I think it's a useless game like you just keep on running and running :D
Well I hate pubg and think it's a much lower quality game than Fortnite. Doesn't feel too similar to me other than then both being battle royale games. The process is very similar, but the games themselves have totally different personalities

I'm a Veteran here. I got skins from the chap-1 season 6 to chapter 2. I stopped playing this because they made the game a salad i.e a mixture of so many aspects that I grew to hate this game. Dunno how others are finding this enjoyable honestly.
That's what's up! I didn't start playing until the Doctor Strange BP. I've completed a couple of them, but I missed out on all of the early stuff. I'm so glad I no longer have to worry about building. Sounds like they changed the game into something you cannot enjoy, but made it pretty much perfect for me.
Well, the echoes of doing 90s and 180s and quickshot still reverberates across my ears. Those were truly fun times. Now, I’m not complaining for the No Build modes but the constituents like the boats and cars? These are weird stuff in the game.
