One of the greatest FPS games ever is alive again

Titanfall 2 is an exhilarating first-person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Released in October 2016, it quickly gained a reputation for its fast-paced gameplay, stunning graphics, and innovative mechanics. The game is set in a futuristic science fiction universe where players take on the role of a pilot, equipped with a powerful, maneuverable combat suit known as a Titan. These Titans are not just tools; they are central to the game's dynamic as players can seamlessly transition between piloting their Titan and engaging in on-foot combat.

One of Titanfall 2's standout features is its single-player campaign, which received widespread acclaim for its gripping narrative and well-designed levels. Players step into the shoes of Jack Cooper, a rifleman who unexpectedly becomes a pilot and forms a bond with BT-7274, an intelligent Titan. Together, they embark on a thrilling journey through a variety of environments, from lush forests to industrial complexes, while facing off against hostile forces. The reason I am randomly posting about a video game that has been out since 2016 must be talked about. This game has been broken thanks to hackers for the last several years. The developers had moved all of their focus over to their new moneymaker, Apex Legends. At least that's what we all thought until randomly the devs decided to release a stealth update in early September 2023 that fixed the servers. Once again Titanfall 2 was playable again for console players and PC players no longer had to play through the Northstar client.

I remembered this being one of my favorite FPS games of all time, but I didn't ever own it because it came out during a time when I wasn't able to play a lot of video games. Plus Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, COD MW Remastered, and Battlefield One all came out within a month of Titanfall 2's release. By the way, I misspoke in my video and it was 2016 and not 2017 that all of this happened.

In today's video, I wanted to talk about why Titanfall 2 in 2023 is better than it has ever been. This game feels like it just came out, it doesn't feel 7 years old in the least bit. That just goes to show you how great of a game it is.

I've got loads of great gameplay for you on nearly a dozen different maps, but be aware that I prefer to play PVP mode (Pilot versus Pilot) so there will not be any gameplay with the Titans.
