My Instacart Financial Report - Week 33
My 33rd Instacart paycheck ๐ธ ๐
Instacart has been hit or miss all summer, but I haven't lost faith. Much like crypto, Instacart has its ups and downs. I'm there for both sides of the battle and trust that eventually things are going to turn up to a level that I'm more satisfied with.
I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.
I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.
Monday, September 4th
Monday was Labor Day and that means it was basically an extra weekend day. More people were home from work than a typical Monday, but also more than usual were inside of the grocery store. I didn't turn the app online until around 2 pm and only got two orders after that.
I made about $45.55/hr on this day.
My first order of the day was for probably my most common customer. I've delivered to him and his family at least a dozen times now. He always tips well and his orders are very simple. The best part of it all is that it's only two minutes from my apartment.
Tuesday, September 5th
Was busy with family so I didn't work on Tuesday.
Wednesday, September 6th
Wednesday was surprisingly a really good day. I had orders pretty much all day long, although none of them were particularly fantastic. The thing is, I was happy to just have some orders and be able to stay busy.
I made about $43.65/hr on this day.
The longest I had to drive for any of these orders was 5 miles, the rest of them were often less than 1 mile total. Saving money on gas is huge, especially with my car since the gas mileage is not good at all. about 14.5-15 mpg usually.
Thursday, September 7th
Thursday may as well have been a zero-day. I accepted just one order all day long and it wasn't worth much at all. The only reason I even took the one was because it was only 0.2 miles from the grocery store and they only needed two items.
I made about $36.66/hr on this day.
I also spent a great deal of the day packing to go dogsit at my parent's house for the weekend while they are out of town. I didn't expect to get to work a bunch, but definitely not this little.
Friday, September 8th
Saturday, September 9th
As I mentioned on Thursday, I spent the weekend watching my dogs at my mom and dad's house. There was a grocery store nearby, but I didn't get any orders all of Friday. Saturday I didn't even turn on the app and just decided to take a day off, which the dogs very much appreciated. I gambled that Sunday would be a really good day.
Sunday, September 10th
Boy oh boy am I glad that Sunday came through in the clutch with loads of orders. This was the busiest Sunday I've had in months and I wasn't even able to get started until 1 pm.
I made about $48.85/hr on this day.
As you can see I had 7 orders which means I stayed busy from start until finish. I even got lucky and was able to take advantage of a promotion that randomly started at 3 pm and ended at 6 pm. This gave me an extra $5/batch, which totaled up to an extra $20. I wish I could stay busy like this daily because I really do love doing this gig. Maybe this is a sign that things are getting back to being busy finally and other shoppers are dwindling off. I sure as hell was happy about how this Sunday went though.
End of week hours and pay ๐ค
My weekly pay was $304 and I worked almost 7 total hours.
I made about $45.77/hr on average this past week.
Doing it again next week ๐
This week was the first time in a long time that I've had two $100+ days in one week. It used to be that I had seven $100 days every week and often even earned over $200 in one day. Here is to hoping that starts to happen again now that fall is almost here. This was another week where I barely hit my minimum goal of $300, but a success is a success.
I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.

Normally I don't care about orders
You do know how to tell him where I live to work.
PD: I want a job like that in my country ๐ญ.
There needs to be gigs like this worldwide. I much prefer it to a typical 9-5
There should be ๐ข
Continuamos con instacar ejemplo de constancia y dedicaciรณn nuestro amigo @daltono , mucho รฉxito.
Good job. Best of luck for the next weekend.
Wednesday made up for Thursday but Sunday made up a lot!
Glad you've had a good week. What do you spend on average a week in USD?
If I have to convert my salary to usd I get like 140 usd a week... I've no idea how far you can get with that your side. I feel I can do more with that in my country than you can... That is after deductions and all that.... It's not the biggest but it's way above minimum wage... Laughs just curious
That's for damn sure. Oh, how I would so love to get back to making that kind of money daily in only a few hours of work. I have a feeling it's about to start happening again. Then again that could just be me trying to stay ultra-positive.
Weekly:
I spend $40/week on fuel
About $120/week on food
I haven't been doing much lately otherwise, trying to conserve funds as best as I can during this bear market. I don't even eat out anymore.
Monthly:
Rent $550
Parking $80
Gym $30
Car insurance $185
Electricity ranges $80-150
Internet $70
Car payment $330
YT/Spotify/Adobe/iCloud $50
Hone Health $140
My expenses are much lower than average here in the USA. Yet here I am still barely earning enough to keep up with all of it right now. If it wasn't for Instacart and Hive I'd be back to slaving away and being miserable like I did for so many years.
not a bad week, 300 $ for just working 7 hours.
had some good BULL action in those days! yay! ๐๐๐ค
Hi, it's good that you had 2 good days of more than $100 and you will reach your minimum goal, nice post.๐๐๐.
Always glad to see your struggle and hardwork and progress its motivated us alot. Thanks for sharing.
Honestly, you are earning a lot of money but you deserve it
You work hard all the time so keep it up
Not bad brother, I think $45.77/hr is decent for Instacart work.
I really think you're probably one of Instacart's best shoppers. Not many people take things above and beyond in the manner that you do.
Keep up the great work man.
It's fantastic pay for the work, especially because I genuinely enjoy doing this job. Yesterday I got to drive deep out on this winding and empty road while listening to music. It was basically like being on a race track and I had so much fun + the customer tipped me $30 along with my pay from Instacart. I got there an hour before the order was due, which happens all of the time. I just wish I could get more hours and then I'd be perfectly happy with this job, it just gets frustrating not even being able to reach double-digit hours worked per week.
Not a bad week. Steady wins the race. If you keep it up, once Crypto hits back you should be in a position of abundance!
