My Instacart Financial Report - Week 17
My 17th Instacart paycheck πΈ π
Due to some travel plans and a lack of orders, I was barely able to work this week. Some is better than none, but this will definitely be my shortest Instacart Financial Report so far.
I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.
I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.
Monday, May 1st
Since this was going to be a short week for me, I needed to start it off strong. I got all of my morning stuff done as quickly as possible and that allowed me to get out there an hour or so earlier than normal. I didn't get any of the gigantic tips that I often receive, but I did at least have a handful of decent orders. Much better than no work at all.
I made about $44.74/hr on this day.
Tuesday, May 2nd
It was another average day, but there are still some things to talk about. For one, I made just about the same as on Monday, except I worked slightly less.
I made about $51.44/hr on this day.
One thing the Instacart Shopper app does is pair orders together to create a batch. I usually never do more than two orders at once, but there sometimes will be triples. These are usually the highest paying batches, but I've noticed that often it's just one of the customers leaving a monster tip, while the other barely tips at all.
That is what happened with my $36 order. The lady from order 1 of 2 lived only a mile from the store and tipped me $27. Meanwhile, my customer 2 of 2 lived almost 10 miles away and tipped me $2. I had no way of canceling the second order. I'd have been much happier to just do the first one and then be right back at the store for more. What I'm saying is that sometimes batch pairing can be pretty annoying because it's often the only way to get the shops done for the many bad tippers around town.
Wednesday, May 3rd
No work due to lack of orders
Thursday, May 4th
Well, this wasn't the way that I hoped my short week would end, but there wasn't much I could do about it.
I made about $50.51/hr on this day.
Although Thursday beat Wednesday's zero-order total, it still wasn't much. I made enough to almost pay for a full tank of gas next weekend.
Friday, May 5th
Saturday, May 6th
Sunday, May 7th
No work due to being out of town on a family trip.
End of week hours and pay π€
My weekly pay was just under $200 and I barely worked only 4 hours.
I made about $48.24/hr on average this past week.
My worst week since starting, but I also was only able to work the least busy days of the week. This was my first time missing the weekend pay in a few months.
Doing it again next week π
Next week will also be a shorter work week for me as I won't be able to get back to it until Wednesday. Luckily, I'll be able to work through the weekend and make up for all of this time off.
I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.

50 bucks per hour? Thatβs a very decent salary for shopping! Just love this business modell/job. Well done. ππ»
Nice to see your weekly Instacart report. And hopefully day by day you will find it easier to use and earn more.
Good to heart you earning well and fullflling your desire goals. Have a best of luck
Your weekly income has decreased a lot, what's the reason? are you busy in something else?
I have no idea about this but I will try.
The weekly income varies, obviously due to "trip" availability. However, the hourly rate is pretty constant. I presume not all orders pay the same...
It's a shame you can't drop the bad tippers and just pick and choose the orders. Clever by instacart to lump those ones in with better tippers, tricksy lol
You are really making huge money. 50 bucks per hour is really great I must confess
How come lack of orders? I don't think that they stay lack of orders here, they try to be fast to deliver more orders instead.
It looks like you're gaining more and more every weekππ
I do envy you somewhat, I wont mind buying groceries for other people, although I think it can only be that funπ sometimes a bit frustrating?
πππ OH YEA.
Do the DEW!!!
that's some new games for u tho.. :)
I often like to try different type of job, I will never leave my 8-5 because of the good deal I have but sometimes I do get bored and was thinking do some Uber, my sister in law drives Uber from time to time and then I remember the Instacart service and thought if there was a service like that in Panama would be cool to try, great it keeps working for you βοΈ

This week your In is very low, either you are busy or there may be some other special reason?
Oh wow it's so nice to see that even when it was a short week it still came out profitable nevertheless
