My bedroom as a child has evolved into a beach-themed guest bedroom

During my life, I had a bedroom in three different rooms of my childhood home. Not all at once of course, but I mean that I switched rooms several times. Today's photos were taken in the room that I called my bedroom for the longest period of time. The thing is, this room looks nothing like it did when I lived in it. Trust me when I say, it is now better than ever.

Currently, my parents use this as a guest bedroom anytime somebody stays at their house. Otherwise, it is mostly left alone. I've never slept in this room in its current state, but my brother has, and many of my mom and dad's friends have.

The thing you will notice right away is that my mom was inspired by the beach to design this room. This is my favorite place in the world to spend time and I think it is most likely hers too. I feel so bad for anybody who has never witnessed the ocean in person, there is nothing like it.

The beachy vibe of this room makes it my favorite room in the house when it comes to the interior design aspect of it. The walls are light blue, a preferred color of mine. Plus there are beach decorations all over the place and some really nice furniture. This room wasn't designed quickly, my mom really took the time to pick out every little item so it would all work together perfectly. It makes me feel like I'm inside a beachside Airbnb when I step into this room.

There may be a bit too many pillows on the bed for my liking, but at least they look beautiful. I think the photo of me lying in the bed with my hands behind my head is my favorite of the bunch. Yes, I promise I did indeed feel as relaxed as I look in the photograph.

There's also a window that overlooks the front yard and parking area. I always loved this window because it lets in plenty of natural light all day long and it always allowed me to quickly look out the window when I heard a car pulling up.

I clearly had a lot of fun taking some self-portrait photos in all the cool rooms in this home. This is post number three in the series and I still have three more to go.
