Failure to implement creative DualSense support is holding back PS5 games
The DualSense is king 👑🎮👍
The PS5 DualSense controller represents a significant leap forward in gaming technology, making it superior to all other controllers on the market. One of its standout features is the innovative haptic feedback system. With advanced actuators, the DualSense delivers precise vibrations and sensations that heighten immersion in games. Whether you're racing through rough terrain or firing a weapon, you can feel the subtle nuances of the game world in your hands, making every interaction more engaging and realistic.
Another key feature that sets the DualSense apart is its adaptive triggers. These triggers offer varying levels of resistance, dynamically adjusting to the actions on the screen. This means that pulling a bowstring, accelerating a car, or shooting a gun will require different levels of force, mimicking real-world sensations. This level of responsiveness enhances gameplay by providing a more tactile and immersive experience, allowing players to truly feel the impact of their actions.
The ergonomic design of the DualSense controller further contributes to its superiority. Sony has meticulously crafted the controller to fit comfortably in the hands of gamers, ensuring extended gaming sessions remain enjoyable and strain-free. The controller's weight is well-balanced, and the placement of buttons and triggers is intuitive, offering precise control and reducing fatigue. Additionally, the textured grips provide enhanced grip and stability, giving players full control over their gaming experience.
Lastly, the DualSense controller seamlessly integrates with the PS5's cutting-edge technology. It utilizes advanced motion sensors and a built-in microphone, enabling players to interact with games in new and exciting ways. The controller's integrated speaker adds an extra layer of immersion, delivering sound effects and dialogue directly to the player's hands. These features, combined with the controller's wireless connectivity and long battery life, make the DualSense an exceptional choice for gamers looking for a controller that enhances their gaming experience to new heights.
In summary, the PS5 DualSense controller's haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, ergonomic design, and integration with the PS5's technology make it a superior choice among all other controllers. Its ability to provide immersive and realistic tactile sensations, coupled with its comfortable and intuitive design, sets it apart as a game-changer in the world of gaming controllers. With the DualSense, players can truly feel the game in their hands, revolutionizing the way they interact with their favorite titles.
With all of that said you may wonder why all PS5 games don't have some cool DualSense support. In fact, more games do not make use of the DualSense's capabilities than the ones that actually do.
In today's video, I will be talking about why I think developers are missing out on a simple way to improve their game's immersion when ignoring the capabilities of the PS5 Dualsense controller.

Reminds me of how I had heard of a few Nintendo Switch games that seemingly did cool stuff with the HD Rumble back on its first years...and then they stopped doing anything with it. Also brings to mind how there very few developers that made stuff for the Wii and Wii U that used the motion controls and gamepad screen in meaningful and comfortable ways.
It is sad to hear that the DS5's gamepad fell again to the "console gimmick" trap...Used at first by the main devs to market it, and then forgotten by them (and barely used by any third party devs) to the point that the feature (or more specifically, the price tag) eventually feels unjustified and unsatisfying for how little you can actually use it.
It's crazy how developers choose to go the basic route instead of taking the time to get really creative. Perhaps they see these features as a gimmick, but there are some players that actually care.
I have never liked controller vibration in any game and closed it every time :)
I know many people like this. They play games with vibrations turned off so they can better focus. I'm the opposite. I was the kid who had the Rumble Pack on the N64, which made my controller feel twice as heavy just so it could vibrate a bit. The DualSense's haptics are something I would NEVER turn off, they're just too cool to me.
I loved the comparison
I don't know much at all about the console side of life...
But
What I do now is that with my next upgrade on my cellphone contract I will be taking a console for sure! Dying to play games in bed and just simply fall asleep😂
How you doing bud?!

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoI may be biased, but I will always recommend the PS5 if you can manage it. I'm managing over here. About to go to the beach with my family in less than two weeks. Pretty excited about that. Hope all is well with you bro.

Very great and impressive comparison. Its very good and helpful for those who love to playing video games.
Los controles lucen genial sean genéricos, o sencillos , con sensores podemos ver qué la tecnología avanza.
Allí de controles yo no sé mucho, pero está bien tu explicación así voy aprendiendo.
