Showing The Guild Shop in Splinterlands

In this post I'll talk about the Guild Shop in Splinterlands, where you can get Gladius Cases to increase your Gladiator card collection in the game.

In my posts I like to talk about Arcade Colony because I'm playing Moon Karts and StakeHouse Den, so before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, let's learn a little about this gaming platform.

Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.

In Arcade Colony you'll find 4 games:

I'm mainly playing Splinterlands and Moon Karts, both are a lot of fun. In Stakehouse Den I'm just accumulating Hot Sauce for the future.

Remember that this is not an investment tip, so do your research before investing in these games.

Let's continue talking about Splinterlands, more specifically, about the Guild Shop.

You'll find the Guild Shop in the SHOP option by clicking on Guild, it's very simple.

On this screen you'll find all the items you can buy in the Guild Shop. Remember that you only use Merits in this SHOP.

The options for spending your merits are:

Gladius Cases - In this option you'll get Gladiator cards, each Gladius Case has 5 cards.

Spy Glass - This option allows you to see which players from other Guilds will participate in each Fray.

Blood Stone - This option increases your chances of obtaining Legendary cards from Gladius Cases.

Power Stone - This option increases your chances of obtaining Gold Foil cards from Gladius Cases.

Remember that each of these options requires a specific Guild Store level.

This is the table showing at what Store level items are unlocked in the Guild Shop.

My Guild only has Store level 4, so I can't buy Blood Stones or Power Stones yet.

The only option I spend my merits on is Gladius Cases because I have many cards to level up. Each Gladius Case costs 2000 merits and now I'm going to open 5 of them.

These are the cards I managed to get. I wasn't lucky enough to get any legendary cards, but I did get a Gold Foil Rare card, so I wasn't too unlucky since I sometimes play on Frays Gold Foil.

I didn't use any Blood Stones or Power Stones, but when my Guild unlocks them, I'll buy them to increase my chances of getting Legendary and Gold Foil cards.
