Opening Foundation Packs With Luck in Splinterlands
In this post I'll be opening some Foundation packs in Splinterlands. My goal is to get more Foundation Cards to make my life easier in the Frontier format.
In my posts I like to talk about Arcade Colony, so let's learn a little about this game platform.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because they are the games I enjoy the most and also earn the most money from.

Last week I could buy Foundation packs for $0.07 but the price has increased and now the lowest price for a Foundation pack is $0.10. This is still a low price for a pack in Splinterlands and for this reason I buy Foundation packs to expand my Foundation Card collection.
I decided to buy only 4 Foundation packs and paid 723 DEC for them. Foundation Cards have lower levels than cards from other editions, and for that reason I need far fewer cards to level them up. Therefore, I'm buying fewer packs because I receive Foundation Cards in Frontier format.
To open packs in Splinterlands, you just need to go to the OPEN option.
On this page you will find all the Splinterlands packs and you will be able to open the ones you own.
I recommend that you use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions when opening your packs in Splinterlands.
Alchemy potions increase the chances of receiving Gold Foil cards in packs.
Legendary potions increase the chances of receiving Legendary cards in packs.
Let's see if I can get any valuable cards in the packs.
My luck improved and with only 4 packs I got 2 Gold Foil cards and 2 Legendary cards. The price of the Legendary Mystic Scaleweaver card alone is worth twice what I paid for the packs, so opening the packs today was a great decision.
