The strong part is not needed tho. It is often a misconception that strong players are good at everything related to the game. And not necessarily true. Also, it is very unlikely you will see the effects of what they are doing, at least not to the full extent. As they will be testing things that are not in the game yet. At least for the most part.
Sorry to seem a bit negative, I am not. Just want to reign back my own expectation. =)

No worries. Being honest is more important than being positive! You are right that strong players aren't necessarily good at balancing; however, we got to see some of these same players suggest excellent balance changes that were implemented in the last 2 rounds of BOTW.
As far as seeing their impact, I hope they are able to take some credit for their work once sets are released in some way. Of course, post-release balance passes will be easy to see.
<3 not everyone appreciates honesty, at least not online.
Normally playtesters are lucky if they get a mention in the rulebook, but that's for board- and card games. And that's only if there are not that many of them. They are usually the unsung heroes in gaming. Here with GU I am not sure what, if anything can be done to give them any credit. I mean other than what's already being done, making the community aware of their existence. Which is way more than what is normally done.
Personally, I find the whole "everyone shouting in a forum about what they want to get changed" is in the absolute majority of times just annoying. It is extremely rare that good ideas get brought up that way. Normally it is just people with a cult of personality that tend to get their way. As they get the numbers backing them,. So if the devs listen you just hope that these individuals are somewhat knowledgable and not just complaining because they lost vs a certain deck a few times.
Personally, I tend to avoid those places. I usually only give advice if asked, as not every game designer is good at taking feedback. Just as not every playtester is good at giving feedback. I at least hope I am average at both. But it is something I have put a lot of effort into as well.
