It might have something to do with the fact that it was 20 below zero here the other night. Things tend to get brittle in those temps. ๐ That said, the repair guy said they usually last 4-12 years up here. These were 8 years old so...right about average I guess.

Dang! I don't envy that cold. Well hopefully it will last longer this time around.
Well, part of the reason it cost as much as it did is that I got the parts that came with a lifetime warranty, so hopefully I never have to use it.
