I talked myself into not waiting for SURGE to sell out and just buying more LEO now. Got 1.5 LEO per 1 HIVE, which is pretty amazing in my book. It's not quite the 18 LEO per 1 HIVE I was getting last winter, but then again, this isn't the same LEO that it was last winter either. Mark my words, when LEO flips HIVE this time, it will never look back.
Finally reached my goal. Now I've just gotta work on getting enough to cover what I'm going to lose moving over to sLEO. Still work to be done.

Excellent friend, for taking advantage of that opportunity and buying SURGE, which is a great project.
Good point on the Leo never looking back bit. But if you're gonna loose 10% moving it to aLEO and then sLEO why not deposit funds into HE to buy SURGE.
I've paid roughly 4% in swapping fees and bridging moving BTC to HE to buy SURGE.

I use LTC and I've got what I want in SURGE. I may add a little more if its still available when my next Hive powerdown comes free, but I'm happy with what I've got. All my SURGE is either Hive or new money. Selling LEO to get it kind of defeats the purpose of the discount in my eyes. Yes, you get it for a 20-30% discount, but by the time you can sell it to take advantage of the discount, I feel like LEO will have doubled back to 25 cents. And while you're collecting 15% over a years time, I think LEO will probably 8-10x over that same time period. So, I'm using SURGE as a savings account and continuing to stack LEO as able.
As for the 10% bit, I'll probably wait until things get a little more liquid and then do some less expensive swaps to get it over there. I'm not missing much on sLEO yet. In fact, I'm probably getting more in LEO than I would be getting in sLEO for now. That will change, but I'm good so far.
yeah that makes sense. I wouldn't sell my LEO either at the moment!
I think you're right it will go up faster and double back to 25 cents.
I think for now I'm done bridging over to stake LEO on leodex... doesn't seem worth it yet. I can do that with new LEO bought right there.
