KISS BLOG IDEAS: WEEK #172~I DARE TO BARE
Hi beautiful minimalist... It's been a wonderful time here in this community as it feels good to know I can call this home.
This week on the #Kiss Blog Ideas, I'm responding to prompt 3: What heights do you take minimalism? Would you “dare to bare” it all in a group activity, publicly or virtually?
Now I wish I could do a video or a vlog where I can give the mic to all my friends to describe who Dinma is. Most of the time, I hear things like: “Are you even a lady?” and I'm like “Being a lady doesn't mean I should clutter my space with things I necessarily do not need”
I take minimalism to the highest level and I'm not ashamed to make it bare.
Personally, It's an ideal way of life, as I literally live with this slogan: Less is more.
Let me even start with the fact that I can only boast of just two wigs since I am not a fan anyway.
I go online and I see some ladies or the some of the male folks, portray a closet full of perfumes and all(I think that's the new trend), a closet full of shoes and bags, and I'm wondering, “Does entering this kind of room not already fill your mind with confusion?”
I'm not a fan of such stress. I have a little trolley where I put my soap, cream, toothpaste and my small perfume.
The last time I wore makeup was in October 2020, when I decided to follow the trend and do a photoshoot at the studio, just to celebrate my birthday.
Trust me, the stress I went through that day was enough to make me swear off makeup — at least until my wedding week.
I was talking to Bambi some weeks ago and he was shocked when I said, My engagement should be so low-key that I need no one around, no balloons and no decorations” I literally told him that, if he did it the way I would see as overly much, I may walk out. And I was dead serious.
Most of the things we see as necessary are really not, but are mostly engineered or pioneered by competitions or comparison and as a strong minimalist, that's not where I fall into.
I attended a wedding ceremony last week and I saw so much stress on the bride’s face. The first thought that came into my mind was: this cannot be me.
I have always craved an intimate wedding with just a few friends and immediate family members. No time to worry about this or that.
Oh well, if you think I'm too extreme like most people say, then maybe that's why my name is Dinma Winner~daeze-winnie
Minimalism gives me peace. It frees my mind from unnecessary decisions and distractions.
So yes, I dare to bare it both virtually and publicly. And it's not to prove a point, but because it’s just who I am.

Thanks for reading my blog❤️
It's your slogan that caught my attention the more.
This sounds so simple but there's a whole lot of meaning and lessons one can learn from it.
Maybe, I'll begin to train myself with this idea, because indeed, less is more.
Thank you so much for sharing this, you did such a great job.
You’re highly welcome dear. Of course Less is more.
