A Stress-free Life

Hey digital hivers, hope the weather is treating your location well.

You know, two months ago, my office secretary mentioned she wanted to change the office cabinets. Honestly, they looked really old and she confirmed that they had been in use for over twenty years. I was so happy because it was going to give the office a new look. That is my office too and so I was so excited.

While we were removing the items from the old cabinet, I couldn't believe my eyes. The amount of papers filled in there was so much that I had to call someone to come join me shred the ones we didn't need anymore. What actually caught my attention was the amount of manuals that were stored in there, I literally had to ask the secretary why she had those manuals saved up and her reply was “We may need them one day.”
Honestly, when it comes to manuals, I don't even take a second look at them. I don't know why but that's just me.
I just feel like this superhero that can sort anything out and maybe I just don't need to start figuring out how to fix some appliance from a book written in miniature letters and probably in a foreign language.
Like Seriously, why are those manuals always printed in fonts that require a magnifying glass?

We are now living in a world where the internet is right at our fingertips and so I can just whip up my phone to search for anything I need help with. It’s way quicker, easier and doesn’t make my brain hurt.

Sometime last month, my boss was to travel and he needed to carry some extra luggage. He really didn’t want to get embarrassed at the airport for exceeding the weight limit, so he bought an electronic luggage scale to measure everything at home.

When he bought it, he didn't seem to know how to operate it so brought it to the office and called me to come help him. I opened up the pack and trust me, I was blank since that was the first time I had seen something like that. So I picked up the manual and believe me I started feeling a migraine coming on.

I quickly dropped it, took a picture of it, used Google Lens to find it online and learned how to operate it. And just like that, it worked like magic.

Honestly, manuals feel like a brain and eye strain to me. Just leave me with my internet, and I'm good to go.

ahahaha, assuming the maunal wasn't there everybody will just be looking at themselves. This is why it is important that people read the manual before operating any device.
