When we decide to give our life to Jesus Christ, it does not mean that our life will be much easier, but it is certain that God watches over us, accompanies us in every step and blessings will abound.

It seemed good to Darius to appoint one hundred and twenty satraps over the kingdom, who should govern the whole kingdom. 2 And over them three governors, of whom Daniel was first, to whom these satraps should give an account, so that the king would not be harmed. 3 But Daniel himself was superior to these satraps and governors, because a superior spirit was in him; and the king thought to put him over the whole kingdom. 4 Then the governors and satraps sought occasion to accuse Daniel in matters related to the kingdom; but they could not find any occasion or fault, because he was faithful, and no vice or fault was found in him. 5 Then those men said, We will not find any occasion to accuse this Daniel, if we do not find it against him concerning the law of his God. 6 Then these governors and satraps gathered together before the king and said to him, "King Darius, live forever! 7 All the governors of the kingdom, magistrates, satraps, princes, and captains have taken counsel together that you should issue a royal decree and confirm it, that anyone who within thirty days makes a petition to any god or man except you, O king, shall be cast into the lions' den. 8 Now, O king, confirm the decree and sign it, so that it cannot be revoked, according to the law of Media and Persia, which cannot be repealed." 9 So King Darius signed the decree and the ban. 10 When Daniel learned that the decree had been signed, he went into his house and, with his upper chamber windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he did before. 11 Then the men gathered together and found Daniel praying and supplicating before his God. 12 Then they came to the king and told him about the king's decree: "Have you not signed a decree that anyone who prays to any god or man within thirty days except you, O king, shall be thrown into the lions' den?" The king answered and said, "It is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persia, which cannot be repealed." 13 Then they answered and said before the king, "Daniel, who is from the children of the captivity of Judah, does not respect you, O king, nor obey the decree that you signed, but makes his petition three times a day." 14 When the king heard of it, it grieved him greatly, and he resolved to release Daniel; and he worked until the going down of the sun to release him. 15 But the men stood around the king and said to him, "Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persia that no decree or ordinance which the king confirms can be repealed." 16 Then the king gave orders, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. And the king said to Daniel, "May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you." 17 Then a stone was brought and placed on the door of the den, and the king sealed it with his signet ring and with the signet rings of his princes, so that the agreement concerning Daniel would not be changed. 18 Then the king went to his palace and lay fasting; no musical instruments were brought before him, and his sleep failed him. 19 So the king rose early in the morning and hurried to the lions' den. 20 Then he went to the den and called out to Daniel in a sad voice, and said to him, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?" 21 Then Daniel said to the king, "O king, live forever. 22 My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me; for I was found innocent in his sight; and in your sight, O king, I have done no wrong." 23 Then the king rejoiced greatly for him, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. And Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury was found on him, because he trusted in his God. 24 Then the king gave the order, and the men who had accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions' den, they, their sons, and their wives. and they had not yet reached the bottom of the den when the lions seized them and broke all their bones.
25 Then King Darius wrote to all peoples, nations, and languages ​​who live throughout the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. 26 This ordinance is laid down from me: That throughout all the dominion of my kingdom all men should fear and tremble at the presence of the God of Daniel; for he is the living God and remains for all ages, and his kingdom will never be destroyed, and his dominion will endure to the end. 27 He saves and rescues, and performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth; he has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
28 And this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and during the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

Cuando decidimos entregar nuestra vida Jesucristo no significa que nuestra vida será mucho más fácil, pero si es seguro que Dios nos guarda, nos acompaña en cada paso y las bendiciones sobreabundarán.

Pareció bien a Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte sátrapas, que gobernasen en todo el reino. 2 Y sobre ellos tres gobernadores, de los cuales Daniel era uno, a quienes estos sátrapas diesen cuenta, para que el rey no fuese perjudicado. 3 Pero Daniel mismo era superior a estos sátrapas y gobernadores, porque había en él un espíritu superior; y el rey pensó en ponerlo sobre todo el reino. 4 Entonces los gobernadores y sátrapas buscaban ocasión para acusar a Daniel en lo relacionado al reino; mas no podían hallar ocasión alguna o falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fue hallado en él. 5 Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna para acusarle, si no la hallamos contra él en relación con la ley de su Dios.
6 Entonces estos gobernadores y sátrapas se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: ¡Rey Darío, para siempre vive! 7 Todos los gobernadores del reino, magistrados, sátrapas, príncipes y capitanes han acordado por consejo que promulgues un edicto real y lo confirmes, que cualquiera que en el espacio de treinta días demande petición de cualquier dios u hombre fuera de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones. 8 Ahora, oh rey, confirma el edicto y fírmalo, para que no pueda ser revocado, conforme a la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no puede ser abrogada. 9 Firmó, pues, el rey Darío el edicto y la prohibición.
10 Cuando Daniel supo que el edicto había sido firmado, entró en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que daban hacia Jerusalén, se arrodillaba tres veces al día, y oraba y daba gracias delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes. 11 Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron a Daniel orando y rogando en presencia de su Dios. 12 Fueron luego ante el rey y le hablaron del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que en el espacio de treinta días pida a cualquier dios u hombre fuera de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey diciendo: Verdad es, conforme a la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no puede ser abrogada. 13 Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel, que es de los hijos de los cautivos de Judá, no te respeta a ti, oh rey, ni acata el edicto que confirmaste, sino que tres veces al día hace su petición.
14 Cuando el rey oyó el asunto, le pesó en gran manera, y resolvió librar a Daniel; y hasta la puesta del sol trabajó para librarle. 15 Pero aquellos hombres rodearon al rey y le dijeron: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia que ningún edicto u ordenanza que el rey confirme puede ser abrogado.
16 Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron a Daniel, y le echaron en el foso de los leones. Y el rey dijo a Daniel: El Dios tuyo, a quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre. 17 Y fue traída una piedra y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo y con el anillo de sus príncipes, para que el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se alterase. 18 Luego el rey se fue a su palacio, y se acostó ayuno; ni instrumentos de música fueron traídos delante de él, y se le fue el sueño.
19 El rey, pues, se levantó muy de mañana, y fue apresuradamente al foso de los leones. 20 Y acercándose al foso llamó a voces a Daniel con voz triste, y le dijo: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, a quien tú continuamente sirves, ¿te ha podido librar de los leones? 21 Entonces Daniel respondió al rey: Oh rey, vive para siempre. 22 Mi Dios envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen daño, porque ante él fui hallado inocente; y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho nada malo. 23 Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera a causa de él, y mandó sacar a Daniel del foso; y fue Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque había confiado en su Dios. 24 Y dio orden el rey, y fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado a Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones ellos, sus hijos y sus mujeres; y aún no habían llegado al fondo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos y quebraron todos sus huesos.
25 Entonces el rey Darío escribió a todos los pueblos, naciones y lenguas que habitan en toda la tierra: Paz os sea multiplicada. 26 De parte mía es puesta esta ordenanza: Que en todo el dominio de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen ante la presencia del Dios de Daniel; porque él es el Dios viviente y permanece por todos los siglos, y su reino no será jamás destruido, y su dominio perdurará hasta el fin. 27 Él salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; él ha librado a Daniel del poder de los leones.
28 Y este Daniel prosperó durante el reinado de Darío y durante el reinado de Ciro el persa.

Daniel 6

Recordemos a Daniel, él tuvo un gran privilegio pero muy poco común a la vez, a él se le presentó la oportunidad de ser influencia a cuatro reyes principales de su momento y demostrarle así los principios de Dios, esto consistía en ser fiel a Dios, esto también era un gran riesgo, sobretodo poniendo su vida pero Daniel en ningún momento vaciló.

Daniel tuvo absoluta y plena confianza en que Dios lo protegería y proveería todo lo que necesitaría, esta convicción de Daniel permitió que tome las decisiones correctas. Daniel entregó a los gobernantes malas noticias, esto simplemente pudo haberle costado la vida a Daniel, recordemos que también desafió una ley de ese momento que exigía violar el mandamiento y el principio que consistía en adorar a Dios.

Daniel no buscaba fama tampoco reconocimiento, él simplemente estaba plenamente comprometido en llevar a cabo lo que era correcto delante de los ojos de Dios, su objetivo era la obediencia a Dios, cuando tuvo que enfrentarse a las consecuencias de sus decisiones nuevamente tomó acción en algo que parecía totalmente ilógico pero siempre tomó las decisiones confiados en que Dios está bajo control.

Bajo nuestra lógica nos tentamos en pensar que si hacemos lo bueno o lo correcto delante de Dios debemos ser recompensados y protegidos indefectiblemente. Pero existen momento en que si decidimos en hacer lo correcto, trae consigo consecuencias que no son agradables como es el caso de Daniel que recibió castigo y mucho más, fue arrojado al foso de los leones para que fuese devorado por ellos.

Nuestra manera de proceder impulsado por la fe y la confianza en el señor es muy importante y está a la altura de llevar a cabo lo que Dios desea para nosotros. Recordemos siempre que quienes nos están observando y evaluando nuestras acciones, reacciones y palabras siempre están esperando a ver si en realidad solamente hablamos o creemos realmente que Dios tiene el control.

Dios usa nuestras vidas, utiliza nuestras experiencias y nuestro testimonio, así como dice Pablo que somos cartas leídas en todo tiempo y esto es de bendición o no para otras personas aporta o no para la salvación de muchos otros, queda en nuestras manos y bajo nuestro criterio que camino seguir.
