Only through faith in Jesus Christ do we have the possibility of crossing that great gulf that separates man from humanity.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes—to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Perhaps we look in the mirror and see the reflection of a very nice, overly kind person. But if we don't recognize our need for Jesus Christ and don't give Him room to dwell in our hearts, we will simply never be able to receive the gift of salvation, and we ourselves are depriving ourselves of having a life forever with Jesus.
13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
1 John 4:13
Salvation is that invitation that comes from God for us to have a relationship by remaining in Him, and in that way, He remains in us. Imagine that we will live forever united with God, the creator of heaven and earth. After thinking about this, the theme of sin surely comes into play, and the Bible also clarifies that we are all sinners, and what is the punishment for sin? It is death without fail.
23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

And so God enters the scene again, having provided everything we need to restore communion between man and God. God has provided that way through His Son to die in our place. This means that we cannot achieve eternal life, that communion with God, through our own strength. We simply need to recognize that this is so and give way to our Lord Jesus Christ by accepting his salvation and recognizing that he has taken our place so that we may have a relationship with God. This is only through the path of faith. Again, it is that faith that God provides us with. In other words, everything comes from God. We simply need to place our body and mind at the service of God.
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
In our minds, the thought of what we deserve or what we don't deserve can also arise. None of us deserve what God has done. No one deserves and no one can earn that salvation. That is why God has provided for others to access and appropriate that grace. God has provided abundant grace and salvation for you and me even when we did not deserve it. An act of courage and also wisdom is to accept this truth and surrender ourselves to God, accepting what He has prepared for us and living for Jesus.

Solamente mediante la fe en Jesucristo tenemos la posibilidad de cruzar ese gran abismo que separa al hombre de la humanidad.
16 Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio, porque es poder de Dios para salvación a todo aquel que cree; al judío primeramente, y también al griego.

Quizás nos miramos al espejo y vemos el reflejo de una persona muy amable, demasiado buena pero si no reconocemos nuestra necesidad de Jesucristo y no le damos lugar a que habita en nuestro corazón simplemente jamás podremos recibir el regalo de la salvación y nosotros mismos nos estamos privando de tener una vida para siempre con Jesús.
13 En esto conocemos que permanecemos en él, y él en nosotros, en que nos ha dado de su Espíritu.
1 Juan 4:13
La salvación es esa invitación que viene de parte de Dios para que tengamos una relación en permanecer en él y de esa manera él permanece en nosotros, imagina que vamos a vivir unidos para siempre con Dios el creador de los cielos y de la tierra. Después de pensar en esto seguramente ingresa el lema del pecado, y la Biblia también aclara que todos somos pecadores y cuál es el castigo del pecado? Es la muerte indefectiblemente.
23 por cuanto todos pecaron, y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios,
Romanos 3:23
Y así entra nuevamente Dios en escena quien ha provisto todo lo que necesitamos para restablecer la comunión entre el hombre y Dios, Dios ha proporcionado ese camino a través de su hijo para morir en nuestro lugar. Esto significa que nosotros no podemos alcanzar esa vida eterna, esa comunión con Dios por nuestras propias fuerzas, simplemente debemos reconocer que es así y darle el lugar a nuestro señor Jesucristo aceptando su salvación y reconociendo que él ha tomado nuestro lugar para que tengamos una relación con Dios, esto es únicamente a través del camino de la fe y nuevamente es esa fe y la que nos proporciona Dios es decir: todo proviene de Dios nosotros solamente debemos poner el cuerpo y la mente al servicio de Dios.
6 Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.
Juan 14:6
En nuestra mente también puede presentarse el pensamiento de aquello que merecemos o lo que no merecemos, ninguno de los otros merecemos lo que Dios ha hecho, nadie merece y nadie puede ganar esa salvación, es por eso que Dios ha provisto para que los otros accedamos y nos apropiemos de esa gracia, dios ha provisto para ti y para mi gracia abundante y salvación aún cuando no lo merecíamos, un acto de valentía y también de sabiduría es aceptar esta verdad y rendirnos a Dios aceptando lo que él ha preparado para nosotros y vivir para Jesús.
