Venciendo el desánimo! || Overcoming discouragement!

There are times when everything seems lost, yet there God can surprise us in unimaginable ways!
It happened in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, that while the wine was already before him, I took the wine and served it to the king. And since I had not been sad before in his presence, 2 the king said to me, "Why is your face sad? For you are not sick. This is nothing but grief of heart." Then I was greatly afraid. 3 And I said to the king, "May the king live forever! How can my face not be sad, since the city, the house of my fathers' tombs, lies desolate, and its gates are burned with fire?" 4 The king said to me, "What do you ask?" Then I prayed to the God of heaven, 5 and said to the king, "If it pleases the king, and your servant has found favor in your sight, send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers' tombs, and I will rebuild it." 6 Then the king said to me (and the queen was sitting beside him), "How long will your journey be, and when will you return?" And it pleased the king to send me, after I had appointed him a time. 7 I also said to the king, "If it pleases the king, let letters be given to me to the governors beyond the River, to give me passage until I come to Judah; 8 and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace of the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house where I will be. And the king granted it to me, according to the good hand of my God upon me. Nehemiah 2:1-8
At any moment, discouragement can appear and try to rob us of joy, peace, and contentment. If this is the moment that discouragement has appeared in your life, don't worry. There is a way out!
Nehemiah is a great example, as he had plenty of reasons to let himself be overcome and surrender to defeat. After the wall surrounding the city of Jerusalem was destroyed, he felt great affliction and disappointment. But Nehemiah didn't remain in that state that was flooding his life. Nehemiah sought God and cried out to Him.
Nehemiah prayed for a compassionate response and also for success, yet the Lord responded in a surprising way! Nehemiah noticed Nehemiah's distress and asked how he could help. From this attitude of the king, the miracle of the wall being rebuilt and thus the redemption of the people took place.
20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,
Ephesians 3:20
God has the great power to transform any situation. We often fail to understand or cannot comprehend what God can do. Today, we have the option of remaining in the despair of the current situation or living focused on the expectations of what God can do for us. Let's follow Nehemiah's example: in the midst of disappointment, let's cry out to the Lord with the hope that He will transform any situation into a blessing. God can prevent negative emotions from taking root in our lives. Now you know what decision to make.

Hay momentos en que todo parece perdido, aún allí Dios nos puede sorprender de maneras inimaginables!
Sucedió en el mes de Nisán, en el año veinte del rey Artajerjes, que estando ya el vino delante de él, tomé el vino y lo serví al rey. Y como yo no había estado antes triste en su presencia, 2 me dijo el rey: ¿Por qué está triste tu rostro? pues no estás enfermo. No es esto sino quebranto de corazón. Entonces temí en gran manera. 3 Y dije al rey: Para siempre viva el rey. ¿Cómo no estará triste mi rostro, cuando la ciudad, casa de los sepulcros de mis padres, está desierta, y sus puertas consumidas por el fuego? 4 Me dijo el rey: ¿Qué cosa pides? Entonces oré al Dios de los cielos, 5 y dije al rey: Si le place al rey, y tu siervo ha hallado gracia delante de ti, envíame a Judá, a la ciudad de los sepulcros de mis padres, y la reedificaré. 6 Entonces el rey me dijo (y la reina estaba sentada junto a él): ¿Cuánto durará tu viaje, y cuándo volverás? Y agradó al rey enviarme, después que yo le señalé tiempo. 7 Además dije al rey: Si le place al rey, que se me den cartas para los gobernadores al otro lado del río, para que me franqueen el paso hasta que llegue a Judá; 8 y carta para Asaf guarda del bosque del rey, para que me dé madera para enmaderar las puertas del palacio de la casa, y para el muro de la ciudad, y la casa en que yo estaré. Y me lo concedió el rey, según la benéfica mano de mi Dios sobre mí.
Nehemías 2:1-8
En un momento puede aparecer el desánimo y pretender robarnos el gozo y la paz, como también el contentamiento y si es en este momento en el que el desánimo ha aparecido en tu vida no te preocupes, Tiene una salida!.
Nehemías es un gran ejemplo ya que tenía suficientes razones para dejarse vencer y entregarse a la derrota, después que el muro que rodeaba la ciudad de Jerusalén había sido destruido entró en él gran aflicción y decepción. Pero Nehemías no se quedó en ese estado que estaba inundando su vida, Nehemías buscó a Dios, clamó a él.
Nehemías oró por una respuesta compasiva y también por éxito, aún así el Señor ha respondido de manera sorprendente! haciendo que el rey notara la aflicción de Nehemías y preguntó como podría ayudar, desde esta actitud del rey se produjo el milagro de la reconstrucción del muro y así la redención del pueblo.
20 Y a Aquel que es poderoso para hacer todas las cosas mucho más abundantemente de lo que pedimos o entendemos, según el poder que actúa en nosotros,
Efesios 3:20
Dios tiene el gran poder de transformar cualquier situación, nosotros no llegamos a comprender muchas veces o no podemos entender lo que Dios puede hacer. Hoy tenemos la posibilidad de permanecer en la desesperación de la situación actual o vivir enfocados en las expectativas de lo que Dios puede hacer por nosotros. Tomemos el ejemplo de Nehemías, en medio de la decepción clamemos al Señor con la esperanza que él transformará cualquier situación en bendición. Dios puede evitar que las emociones negativas echen raices en nuestras vidas. Ya sabes que decisión tomar.

Amén 🙏 muchas gracias! Estas últimas semanas han sido muy agotadoras, las pruebas a veces nos producen desánimo y nos roban fuerzas, y si definitivamente el Señor es nuestra fortaleza en el día de la aflicción!
